I just read looked up "The Strangers" on IMDB, and think I'd like to go see it soon. But I'm sort of like the other person who would rather watch it at home during the day...LOL!

Famous Dave's BBQ restaurant just opened up here yesterday. I've never been to one and would like to know opinions on it. We will surely go try it soon, it smells great when you drive by. So what's your favorites to order there?

Thanks

OK peeps, here's a BRU/TRU ? for you. I received a mailer for $10 off $50. There is a hotdeal post for 5/25. I also received a BRU mailer for 15% off any baby item.

Any experience with stacking? I'm sure I can do the 15% with either of the xx/xx but not sure of the xx/xx in same transaction. Thinking of getting the laugh n learn kitchen. Been dying for it for a while since I saw it at a target on my way to PA but my targets here just don't have it.
My experience with BRU is that you can't stack them. I usually do two different transactions.

Yea...I recommend during the day....but even that won't save ya on this one lol....I recommend you do it when another adult is present.....we were ready to turn the movie off and just call it a night half way through lol...

ugh i'm so tired of buying pullups etc.....I still have two full packs of size 6 huggies...but this little girl can pull those off faster than i can put them on, pretty much just a waste of time. She likes the pullups though lol.

Btw....there is a coupon on coupons.com for a free fruitista freeze from taco bell.....well dh decided thats what he wanted for lunch and lucky me i had just printed it the night before and shoved it in my purse....it's seriously yumm!!!!!

I am going to T today come hell or high water(that's the saying isnt it???) Do you know what dh asked me today??? He asked me if we had any razors?? I was like wtf? are you kidding me??? We practically have schick pouring out of the closets. Men are so dense.

I completely understand everyone's frusteration with guys buying stuff without coupons....I don't have to worry about that as my dh won't step foot into a store that isn't named lowe's or home depot lol. That's almost as annoying. He'll be like hey we need this....and if I haven't picked it up by the time he decides we need it again whine whine whine!!! Or I'll call him when I'm at the store to ask if he needs anything...he says no....I leave store...i get to car and pull away from store and he calls and says oh yea i need this. EEK! EEK!

If you can find clean team stuff at your bru you can also get overages.....you may already know this but just in case...

Ugh.....can someone please tell me this horrible stage of throwing huge fits about EVERYTHING doesn't last forever?? my ddis sitting on the couch hysterical b/c I put her hair in a ponytail. Five minutes before that she was hysterical b/c I made her come back inside the house. *sigh* She turned two in March and I'm praying this doesn't laugh forever...because as cute as she is she is driving me crazy!!

Oh and does anyone have any good potty training tips?? I know she's ready...she just won't do it...today she took her diaper off and went off the floor. EEK! EEK! We've tryed a big girl chart....letting her run around without a diaper, sitting her on the potty seat....she just stares at us.
My DD turned two in Nov..and some days she is fine and others OH MY....so I never quite know what to expect when we go byebyes anymore...EEK! Like a crap shoot...best thing to do is try to have a schedule (that is where we have issoos unfortunately just too much going on and no day is the same Frown ) and make sure she is not hungry or tired before doing anything important (ie: Targetlaugh out loud )...and dont plan a list of 5 things..try to keep it simple until she is better adjusted....we used to try to save errands for saturdays and cover a lot of ground..now we have to put the most important at the top of the list and the rest are as tolerated...This past saturday we accomplished 2/3...we got haircuts and targeted...dinner was a nogo so we had to order out and eat in...Smilie

Potty training...DD is just now starting to want to go and really trying...she has went a handful of times but that is progressnod ...we use a sticker chart that shows she used the potty, flushed, and washed her hands...if she actually goes she gets an M&M for her efforts...if not she just gets to dream about one...laugh out loud

Okay, I'm back and I feel so behind on all the deals! I got to the coupon-clipping services too late to order any gillette/fusion q's. Frown

I had a disaster of a week last week - went away on business, got sick and ended up in the emergency room, had to cut the business trip short to come home for more emergency room poking and prodding. :yuck:

Anyway. Headed to T tonight, but I ran by Rite Aid this morning and I thought I'd mention that I found a bunch of Maybelline $2 and $3 peelies there (the same ones I found at Target two weeks ago).

They also had some trial sized shampoo and body wash clearanced to 50% - citre shine shampoos and conditioners and old spice body wash, to name a few.

HTH's!

I've stacked several q's in one transaction at TRU. It surprised me when she said I could. I know I used a 10%, $5 off, and I'm pretty sure another $10 off all on the same order.

Ok all the teachers out there....what is a nice end of the year gift you'd like to receive? We gave my DS's Kindergarten teacher a scented candle for teacher appreciation week, so I need something different that she would actually like/use. kwim?

You NEED to get the laugh and learn kitchen, we play with it every night. Ryan even gets the pan off the stove, mixes it and then walks over to give me a bite!

I know all the songs on it, I could sing them for you if you would like! Oh and I got mine on clearance at Wmart for 30 bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

You could do Target giftcards! laugh out loud I know I would enjoy that! For my son's teacher we did a bouquet of flowers and a giftcard to a teacher supply store. I have seen things like a stack of books (for the class library), jewelry (usually the class goes in together and does like $2 per person to give something in sterling silver), BBW stuff, and giftcards. I hope that helps a little!! Smilie

dm- you might think this is strange but i bought a bunch of baskets (cvs clearance) and loaded them down with goodies from T, CVS, Wal etc...
i made them specific to each teacher. so the young 20 something with brown hair green eyes, got the almay i-intense for green eyes, also, TONS of cover girl make-up, body wash, candy, pencils etc...
Now our principal is a 50 something nun so that was a bit harder....nod
her basket had vitamins, candy, fitness bars, soaps, excedrin, shampoo and some cute socks... i tried to color-co-ordinate each basket with ribbons, paper etc...(to make it more "gifty")

i was able to use up tons of my "stock" and i think (hope) they all really like/appreciated it. you might want to consider this. everyone HAS to buy this stuff...so why not do it for them and make it fun?

however, um....don't think they'd appreciate the P10 no matter HOw grey the hair!!

We have the laugh n learn house and DD LOVES it...however it is huge and has been relocated to the basement and will go outside on the enclosed porch for summer play now...She got a big girl kitchen from Santa and I think you will get much more life and use out of it (especially for a girl who wants to play house and stuff much longer than boys do ) than the laugh n learn model...We have almost all the FP laugh n learn line toys and loved them all I just think they start to grow out of them even before the recommended age limit is reached..JMO...
She is 2 and she cooks anything and everything that we do in her Step 2 kitchen...and makes us eat!! Too funny...She just got the cranium bloom food basket that has the scanner gun in it and now plays Target with it and uses my expired coupons...CUTE! Girly

We got her the Step 2 Party time model...Its very lifelike..."working" burner...sink light...clock...phone...microwave...and came with cool accessories...

They have lots on their website and TRU carries a few of them...none at target that i have seen...sometimes the tables or accessories...we got ours from TRU and then the table and her art desk from the Step 2 website with free shipping offers...Step 2 does free shipping promos quite often so worth checking...

I do know we got a TRU booklet in the mail yesterday with a $10/100 valid 6/6-6/28 in store only..so at least you could get some kind of discount....Smilie
