KMART coupon question.

How does it work at KMART with overage? I have a $2 Q for item X and item X costs $1 ...do you get overage? Does the register beep? What happens? Just curious. I know Teri previously posted about the Pedigree bone deal so I wanted to try it out.

Please wish us luck! I work in a hospital, inpatient psychiatry. My husband works on the same campus in the nursing home. We THOUGHT our jobs were very secure. These 2 operated independant of each other for years and years... well at some mtg my husband went to today, they are combining into ONE. Payroll, HR, registration are all combining into ONE dept for both places. Starting FRIDAY! Which means layoffs are going to start on Friday. We both think our jobs and what we do are secure at each place but its a scary time. We can not work ONE minute of OT... our whole hospital cant, not just my dept. My dept is quite busy! Hubbys place is building a whole new unit! He is a carpenter and has lots of work.

Just keep us in your thoughts.. We just cant afford for us BOTH to get laid off! Hubby can get work as a carpenter as he has many offers of work, just has to turn them down! Thankfully I did put aside enough for 3 months worth of bills and we have lots of Target GC's from all the deals lately to pay for groceries for the next 2 months!

I did it with the maybelline.. they were BOGO free on the nail polish.. I used a $3 peelie on each one... even though the register KNEW one was free.. I bought stuff to eat up the overage... and no, no beeps Smilie

Maybe it wont.. but they did FIVE of these meetings today.. there is one later that I will go to on my shift to hear everything myself... but now the worry sits in. Hubby can get work as a carpenter.. but for me to find a job? That will be harder.. so I am just going to keep praying and do the best job I can...

You know what, that's what you have to do. If you stress about it, it will make it worse and impact your current performance at home and on the job. I found out myself recently that my job may be merged into another position within 24-36 months. I just can't think about it until it happens, then I"ll polish the resume and deal.

Actually may polish the resume this weekend anyway Smilie

This could seriously work. People pay to have someone walk their dogs...they'd sure pay to have someone do their grocery shopping too. We could do someone's grocery shopping for 2 weeks...charge a certain amount over what they normally spend on groceries in a week....and we keep whatever we save. Evillaugh
