to be honest, my dh b*tched at me every time i went shopping. until a few weeks ago i made him go with me.. and once he saw i am only paying pennies or nothing (like i said i was!) now he doesn't say anything about all the stuff i bring home. laugh out loud
he said, 'well it was hard to believe unless someone actually saw for themself what you were really paying.' lol

tomorrow is my 25th birthday. tonight he told me if i learn how to cook and have dinner on the table when he gets home, keep up the house on my own, etc basically learn and DO the housewife skills (which i currently suck at) he'll let me be the SAHM i want to be. so.. uh.. know any good recipes? my cooking skills sure could use all the help they can get. LMAO
LOL, Okay you have a crock pot? Use some of that almost free chicken boneless skinless breasts, buy Old ElPaso enchalada sauce, there are MQ's for these, or any enchalada sauce Archer farms and Pace also make this. I like the green with chicken. Put it in the crockpot for 8 hours. When dinner time hits heat up your tortilla's, this makes them easier to roll, and make your enchaladas, Shred your chicken. then you have a choice, my dh hates cream chese, so you can do what I do and add cheddar cheese and shredded chicken to each totilla roll poor sauce from crock pot on top and cover more cheese, or fill with cream cheese and crumble cream cheese on top. But in oven at 350 for 15-20 min, add sides and your done. This is my busy day staple, LOL. No water to boil no stove top cooking unless I use the stove top for sides. I can shop till I drop and still have dinner on the table when he comes home, heehee

way to get right to the root of the problem. that's EXACTLY what i do, so now i know what i'm doing wrong! Rofl2
Cooking is great, I put up the baby gate and tell dh that it is his quality daddy/kid time and stand by the stove and read a book, stirring what needs stirring, making sure my water doesn't boil away, heehee. But my crockpot has been my best buy especially since oldest dd started school, amazing how busy it can get.

Love it, on my trip to Ca.. my friend had one, used it and it was great. went the next day to Wag and bought it with a $10RR.
I never wear socks so I always have scaling skin (gross) on my heels, since buying that it's so much nicer.
But as someone else mentioned, do be careful that you don't go down to far on the skin, or you will be very sore...

Okay so you call it a garage sale, as do I... You are having it on the weekend as do we. My question is - Why do some people have a yard sale or tag sale and hold it on a Thurs.
I have friends in Lyndenhurst, Ill and she goes out on Thursdays to find all these yard sales.
When I told her we have them on the weekends, she looked at me like I was an alien or something. She said she had never heard of it on a weekend, that Thurs. is the day.

Can anyone else confirm that they hold them on Thurs. as well and is it a success? As a Thurs just wouldn't fly here as everyone is at work.

Just curious.. Smilie
That is weard, I have heard them called yard sales and garage sales, always early on Sat, I have seen people do them on Thurs and Fri, but don't know the success, must be the non working crowd that shops these? Like I Cooould do, but I would much rather have a sale than go to one, I know I am weird.

Pity Party table of one.....

Just need to whine. I hurt my eye last night, and by the time I got my contacts out I was miserable. I broke down and went to the Dr and turns out I scratched the cornea and the conjuctivis.

So I am off to Target to get 2 scripts filled with NO Gc q, and do a mini run. I dont have any diaper q's yet, so I wont be doing that tonight.

On a good note I am off to cut q's with my SD buddy and have a night out!

Yes, the 1.50 coupon works too. It states 1.50 off ANY Jumbone. I've used about 35 of them.Smilie The trick is finding a store with the sample bags. One of my three stores had them, and they had two separate displays. One display had the regular sized Jumbones in the slots, and on the back of the display was a separate slot with the 3 pack trials. Then further down the isle was yet another display with the two pack samples. All in All I bought over 100 bags using both the 1.50 and the 1.00 q's. hth

OK for those of you who CVS, WTF--my store said they got an update and now if you're paying with ECB and your total goes to zero you have to have a manager come over and sign off?????

I don't read the CVS threads often, I pretty much just do my own thing but I think when I scan I would have seen this. Anyone else experienced this? The mgr had to type in her numbers and everything

I don't know about that, but my closest store did tell me they had some kind of update the other day. All my legit coupons were beeping and it was the manager ringing me up. She said the update was making things a pita.

Awesome, CONGRATS!!! Groupwave

Let's just hope they still have them at my KMART on Sun or Monday since I don't have time this weekend to go because I'm having a garage sale!!!
Hope they're still there. I got a 6 foot table for free (thanks to Pedigree Smilie )for my FIRST stockpile yard sale tomorrow. I am thinking of pricing razors 3.00, shampoo/bodywash 1.50, I have tons of gift sets, robes, etc from c*s that I don't even know where to start with the pricing!
