At the right price...ALL of it! I have plenty of $1 tables and do lots of "$2 items/3 for $5". Just remember to hold back 90% of your "bulk" stuff out of sight so people can't see how much you have to get rid of. For some reason, if they see you have bunches they won't want to pay you squat for it. Thumbup

Love it, on my trip to Ca.. my friend had one, used it and it was great. went the next day to Wag and bought it with a $10RR.
I never wear socks so I always have scaling skin (gross) on my heels, since buying that it's so much nicer.
But as someone else mentioned, do be careful that you don't go down to far on the skin, or you will be very sore...

Okay so you call it a garage sale, as do I... You are having it on the weekend as do we. My question is - Why do some people have a yard sale or tag sale and hold it on a Thurs.
I have friends in Lyndenhurst, Ill and she goes out on Thursdays to find all these yard sales.
When I told her we have them on the weekends, she looked at me like I was an alien or something. She said she had never heard of it on a weekend, that Thurs. is the day.

Can anyone else confirm that they hold them on Thurs. as well and is it a success? As a Thurs just wouldn't fly here as everyone is at work.

Just curious.. Smilie
ok here you HAVE to have garage sales/yard sales on Thurs and Friday. You can only have them two days. Some people on Saturdays (but it is never worth it) and never on Sundays. Baptist country abound!!

Quote from sillygeese :
That is weard, I have heard them called yard sales and garage sales, always early on Sat, I have seen people do them on Thurs and Fri, but don't know the success, must be the non working crowd that shops these? Like I Cooould do, but I would much rather have a sale than go to one, I know I am weird.
My mom and I have one once a year at each house but I HATE to go to them!! uugghhh! funny how that works out! And having a sale is worse than a full time job!!

I cant wait to get home from vacation to stock up on pampers... if i had room in the suitcase I would have stocked up by now. There is a target across the road from our hotel, which makes me sad because I cant buy that much to put in my luggage. But I did find today poptarts for 1.48 and used the tq so picked them up for .98.

OK for those of you who CVS, WTF--my store said they got an update and now if you're paying with ECB and your total goes to zero you have to have a manager come over and sign off?????

I don't read the CVS threads often, I pretty much just do my own thing but I think when I scan I would have seen this. Anyone else experienced this? The mgr had to type in her numbers and everything
The last time I went to CVS that happened. If I had them adjust my last ECB down, my total went to zero and they needed to have manager approval. I still had to pay sales tax though. It's a pain for the cashiers.

I have been collecting them, but for some strange reason, the UPC on the coupon barcode does not match the UPC of the products. I even compared with the BOGO from the tearpad and it's totally different too. This will create major beepage. EEK!

This must, like everything else T. or CvS related be YMMV. Had my total go to -.06 today and the kid was going to try to ring it out. I said, hold on, why don't I throw in a candy bar and it worked out fine...no approval needed. Got 3 prescriptions and got $30 GC's on each so was a great shopping trip!

Yes - it was seriously weird!! I had 3 Pampers ($8.99 each) and 3 wipes ($5.99 I think) and like I said it started beeping with the very first $5 GC when you buy two??? I had three in my pile because I had 3 sets. Then when I got to the first $2 (yup the ETQ) it beeped -- I kid you not. It didn't say expired it said - item not found??? Then by the time I got to the the 3 $5 off it was just a no go - at all! There was a security guard at the second store - it was a BIG fiasco! He wrote something on a clipboard - but I have NO idea what???? I had 3 BOGO choc MQ's and 4 bags of choc so they were ticked about that - I did get my coupons back this time --- once before they kept them. But I didn't get my goodlife cat food either Frown
Very interesting... I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else. I am nervous already about trying this deal tomorrow... as I'm hoping to potty train by the end of the year, so I'm not even sure I need diapers... and I certainly get good deals at CVS on diapers sometimes...

And yes, I'm definitely buying stuff to buy stuff at a great (free!) price. It's a crazy addiction. I buy all this stuff and then I give it away. Why I spend sooooo much time on this (it's almost 1am and I haven't even started getting ready for bed yet... and before you know it, the kids will be awake!)... sometimes I wonder...

Hey Guys -

Also - completely off topic - my Maytag oven had a fire in it last night ... exciting :/ Anyway, the electronics are shot --- or burned up --- so I have to buy a new oven/stove ... anyone got any suggestions for a SD??? Luckily we have a micro so we are ok --- but at some point cooking again would be useful! LOL

HUGS - D

Well, this week the deals there are terrible, so I have stayed away, so I don't really know.

Does anyone else ever feel like they are buying stuff, just to buy it?? Like, did I really need 3 more bottles of pantene or more razors???

God, I'm a loser...i'm sitting here playing solitaire refreshing sd every few minutes b/c I have nothing better to do.
All the time! That's why now I try to only buy stuff if it is either totally free, making something else free or making me some money. Or if we EEK! need it!

Heres a good one. Mom and I went to T earlier. She bought:
4 Venus GS 9.99 I think
1 GE energy efficient light bulb about 5 bux
2 diet 7 up 1.59 each
10 oral b dental floss samples .97 each
Dont have the reciept in front of me, but I am sure you all have the prices memorized in your heads:
She used 4 exp 4 mfqs
10 oral b $1 qs
b1g1 soda
1 mq on the light
1.5 target mq on light
cashier scanned all qs, no problem, etc she spent 24 and got 20 back in gcs
We'll take that
I wont use durex etc around mom lol
I only bought 2 venus regulars
2 2 mq
and 2 tqs
and the cashier (same) gave me grief, said using 2 qs isnt allowed. I said yes, 1 is a tq and 1 is mfq, it is allowed. He picked up red phone and they said if they scan accept it. Of course they scanned, but what a jerk. I think best bet, big order, lots of qs. We were in a hurry cuz I had movie plans and was running late to meet a pal, or I would have had more stuff too. Just an odd experience. They seem to hate me, pick apart all my deals, @ that target, and they love mom, take whatever she gives them. I send her lots anyway, lol. Just venting....heading to km tomorrow for the pet treats, hope they have them!

First of all - how on earth are y'all doing the Pampers deal??? I tried twice today and was told NO WAY NO HOW! I had the $5 GC first with the 3 sets and those beeped but they put them thru ... then a few other items ... then we got to the first $2 TQ and it beeped so they said no and refused them and I didn't have any of the $2/2 MQ so I threw in one $5 37MQ which went thru - but then they got to the last $5 off when you buy the 3 sets and by now they were PISSED! So they said no you can't use these either and started arguing about a couple of other coupons I had so I left --- is it just me --- am I doing something wrong?????*snip*
Yup, not working for me, either. I've tried twice, 2 different stores. Confused

moved from T deals:
Crap, it must be me. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) I was curious and wanted to try out not using the GC Q and adding in another $5 TQ and the cashier totally killed me! Her biggest issue was my LAYS cracker Qs! They didn't even beep, but she recognized the picture and claimed she can no longer take a TQ and a MQ for the same item. I tried to talk w/her about it, but she wasn't budging and it is too late to call CS, so I told her not to worry about it and I wouldn't use the TQ, but then she freaked over my diaper Q's. The LOD came over and seriously read my pampers MQ (from the paper) for about 5 minutes! I asked him why I suddenly can't use a TQ and a MQ on the same item and he said it depends on the Q! WTH? I told him I had to go and left. The first set of $5 TQ was fine, but when I accidentally added a couple extras, it beeped. I had 3 jumbo easy ups $8.99, 3 clean 'n go $5.99 and some misc others (reynolds bags, ziploc, lays cracker crisps). Grrrrrr. Mad

LOL I wonder too as I sit here reading at almost 1 am - LOL I am trying to work out the Pampers deal because I need them ... I will try again tomorrow ... I am just all worried I hate it when I have confrontations like that, I end up all shaken and twitchy LMAO

Ok I would love to hear!!! I would love any tips anyone has on getting a new stove - I was a tad taken aback by our oven burning like that ... I had to flip off the circuit breaker to get it to go out (I wasn't even using it and the short caused the heating unit to burn through it's protective covering --- you couldn't look at the light actually where the coil was burning as it was too bright! BAH! My friend said - you know if you hadn't been home and the fire had spread you might have had a BIG fire on your hands! You know I thought Maytags were supposed to be more reliable then that ..... course I should have known that I was in for real problems when the electric clock on the range lost time each day Confused I realize that should not be possible - only wind up clocks or battery clocks should lose time ... but obviously Maytag has invented an electric clock which can slowly lose time each day! Now THAT is an accomplishment!!! LMAO
