Boy, I feel so blessed today! Since our tax liability was $0 this year.. I expected the bare minimum for DH and I and then $300 for each kid. Just got payment today and it was $2400! $600 more than we thought and will cover the ENTIRE cost of putting in a wood stove!

I kinda glazed over with all the dog food talk at Kmart. Looked for the Qs, but NOTHING in my inserts!!!!

1. Today, at Kmart, I bought the 1st $50 GC = got 2 Incredible Hulk tickets. Then, off to shop.

2. Found 25 clearanced Kotex for $1.49 to $1.64 - thanks to everyone who sent their Qs. Saw a flyer about buying $40 worth of certain items and get back $10 for next shopping. Kotex is on the list, but only had about $36 worth. Added a Drano, which is on the list and something we always use.

3. In the pet product area (it stinks there), there's a bunch of Pedigree coupon pamphlets. YEAH!!! So, I took a "few" coupons to buy a "few" trial sizes.

4. At checkout, bought a 2nd $50 GC, used (25) $1 Kotex Qs, a "few" $1.50 Pedigree Qs, and paid with the 1st $50 GC. Got another 2 movie tickets + $10 coupon (from Kotex & Drano)

5. Looked over my receipt and saw that Drano rang up higher than the price marked. CS gave me back the difference + $5 (Michigan law). YEAH!!!!

6. Went back for the rest of the Drano & a "few" Pedigree for overage. Bought a 3rd $50 GC, used a "few" $1.50 Pedigree Qs, and paid with the $10 coupon and the 2nd $50 GC. Got another 2 movie tickets + $3 coupons (from Drano)

Total: Kmart PAID me $9.50 today (incl. $3 coupon for next time).

My Loot: 6 "Hulk" movie tickets, a "few" dog food, 5 Dranos, 25 Kotex, $3 coupon for next time and $6.50 in overage.

....and I still have my $50 GC....

They were in a clear hanging container, right under the Pedigree products, along the edge of the shelves.

About 6 different coupons in this booklet, and there's a $3 Q that will also work on the same trial size pack - more overage. (haven't tried it yet, but definitely will.)

dang, I did not see these at my store. Although I was looking for treats, not boolets/coupons! I finally found the treats and used my Qs so I will go back and look for these.

on a seperate note, I checked out at the service desk, she had to hit a button AFTER scanning (or maybe before scanning?) each and every item AND coupon, does this happen when you go through the regular lines too?

Yep! such a wasted time to scan 1 coupon, hit 1 button, and repeat... this happened only with the coupons, not the products. However, I had over 30 coupons, so it took awhile.

Very interesting... I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else. I am nervous already about trying this deal tomorrow... as I'm hoping to potty train by the end of the year, so I'm not even sure I need diapers... and I certainly get good deals at CVS on diapers sometimes...

And yes, I'm definitely buying stuff to buy stuff at a great (free!) price. It's a crazy addiction. I buy all this stuff and then I give it away. Why I spend sooooo much time on this (it's almost 1am and I haven't even started getting ready for bed yet... and before you know it, the kids will be awake!)... sometimes I wonder...

Quoting myself and answering my own question... LMAO

I did the Pampers deal today with 2 sets of diapers & wipes. It worked beautifully!!! Big Grin
Now I wish I'd bought more... laugh out loud
Not quite as good of a deal after today with the price increase in diapers... but once I had everything in my trunk, I knew I had to get home soon or my dove & hershey's chocolate would melt in my trunk! (it's about 100 degrees here today...)

BTW, do you know who I can rep for putting together this deal... I think I remember... but want to make sure I get it right... thanks!

You rock! That's great.

I'm still figuring out the KMART thing. I only have ONE store and it's not very close by... but I shop there when I'm in the area now... ever since the buddies deal. It's definitely a PITA to find stuff in that mess of a store... but I love their registers (much nicer than Targets!) and nice cashiers.

I don't have a CVS or Kmart, but are the deals at Rite-Aid, Longs and Walgreens any good?

WHOOOO HOOO!! That is WONDERFUL!!!!! Congrats!!! I am unhappily looking for a new stove today and have decided that we should just eat PB&J from now on! LOL

I am so glad that it worked well for you!! That rocks!!

I think that our Target is having issues with Q's??? I tried once more this morning and didn't even bother putting in the $2ETQ and got grief on the GC which I ran thru first ... the cashier was fine but there was almost no one else there (where was everyone on a Sat?) and so a manager came over to harrass about each Q (I think she was bored!) They did finally say ok on the $5 GC - but I will prob just return it because they wouldn't take the MQ and with just $5 GC back on a purchase of $8.99 + $5.99 that is still $9.98 for a bag of wipes & diapers and not a SD imo.

We don't have a CVS, Kmart, Rite-Aid, or Longs ... we do have a Walgreens though --- however I haven't seen deals as they potentially 'have' at Target.

LOL I wonder too as I sit here reading at almost 1 am - LOL I am trying to work out the Pampers deal because I need them ... I will try again tomorrow ... I am just all worried I hate it when I have confrontations like that, I end up all shaken and twitchy LMAO

nod I wish we had a CVS ...

Ok I would love to hear!!! I would love any tips anyone has on getting a new stove - I was a tad taken aback by our oven burning like that ... I had to flip off the circuit breaker to get it to go out (I wasn't even using it and the short caused the heating unit to burn through it's protective covering --- you couldn't look at the light actually where the coil was burning as it was too bright! BAH! My friend said - you know if you hadn't been home and the fire had spread you might have had a BIG fire on your hands! You know I thought Maytags were supposed to be more reliable then that ..... course I should have known that I was in for real problems when the electric clock on the range lost time each day Confused I realize that should not be possible - only wind up clocks or battery clocks should lose time ... but obviously Maytag has invented an electric clock which can slowly lose time each day! Now THAT is an accomplishment!!! LMAO
Best deal I can think of is Lowes, buy a $50 GC use towards purchase of appliace, but get free tool.
https://slickdeals.net/permadeal/12654

Apply for Lowe's card to uselize no interest deal(don't know what but usually they have some sort of no interst for a set amount of time)

Try stacking a few of these

http://www.lifetakesvisa.com/?id=...ditorial2&

and apply your GC of course.

End result hopefully, new appliance with a few months to pay for it, look for a store sample model usually can negatiate additional savings for the floor model , should work perfect but may have small dent or scratch, and free bonus tool. I have a GE and no complaints.
