That's what I want to know... I'm loving the registers at KMART... now I just need to figure out what all to buy.

I've been getting for free or overage with MQs..
From H&B Clearance
-Colgate $1.49 or less ($1.50 MQ)
-Got2b stylers $1.24 (using $2 hangtags from T)
-SunSilk $1.24 (using $1.50 or $2 MQs)
-Old Spice Deod $.98 (using $2 MQs)

I've been getting for free with MQs
-Hefty One Zip Travel bags (I bought my initial one with overage... and actually found add'l $1 peelies off of big bags... and then I cut the Qs off the back of the ones I buy and use them on my next KMART trip to buy more... so each time I go I always buy 4 with the MQs I cut from the packages of the 4 I bought last time)
-J&J buddie bars (if they're in stock... and using the $3/3 catalina that's supposed to print)

Anything I should add to my list??
Is that deal still going on? I have a couple Buddies printables left, but wasn't sure if this deal was still alive...

Be sure to pack a change of clothes for DS and you. In case he gets sick (on himself and/or you), you don't want to be stuck in yucky clothes the remainder of the trip.

Ok...my first attempt at making a smoothie not so good...dh won't even drink it lol. I don't think it's so bad. Anyone have any good recipes??
Jen,
When I make smoothies, and I make a lot of them. I have a Vita Mix machine (like the ones they use at Jamba Juice). But any blender will do.
I always add yogurt, nonfat, any flavor
A half of a banana and some frozen fruit. My favorites are strawberries and blueberries. I like using frozen fruit instead of ice cubes. Plus if I have other fresh fruit, I throw some in. Mangos, oranges and pineapples are especially good. I also add a scoop of protein and a scoop of ground flax seed (adds fiber).
Another good thing to add are carrots. Did you know women who eat one carrot a day decrease their risk of stroke by 80%? OMG You can't taste it, but it helps to get your veggies in. Other good veggies that are good in smoothies are cabbage (green is more mild than red) and squash. Again, you can't taste it. It's also a great way to get your kids to eat veggies.

A typical smoothie for me is:
One container yogurt (6oz)
Approximately one cup frozen fruit
One carrot
Half banana
Half of a mango, orange or a few pineapple slices
water, milk (non fat) or soy milk
scoop of protein
scoop of fiber

This is usually what I make for breakfast.

Well layoffs start tomorrow Frown Several people have said its 125 people between our hospital and the nursing home on campus and 80ppl that work at our satellite businesses (surgery center, outpatient drs, etc). Hubby goes to work first... but I am going to be a nervous wreck all morning until he calls and tells me he didnt get the pink slip. He has a good chance of staying. They say they are keeping 4 engineers between both places on day shift.. right now there is 5 and one of the guys my DH works with is lazy and its well known by the bosses...

So praying tomorrow doesnt bring lots of sadness around here!

If you're going back to walgreens, you can also pick up free bandaids with the $1 MQ and get 20 sq. ft reynolds wrap for $0.34 each after $0.55 MQ and Walgreens in-ad $0.89 Q.
i was just looking over the flyer and saw these. guess those bandaids are better at cvs than saving for target and i'm not sure if i have the "right" reynolds. i think any will do, but i don't want them looking too closely since that is all i'll be buying just about.

ANY advice on losing weight is much appreciated...I feel the need to win this stupid contest!!! lol
There was a thread in the lounge about taking 35 grams of fiber a day for losing weight. I think most people who tried it did pretty good, you might want to search for that thread. My neighbor said she lost 10 pounds in a few weeks and that was the only thing she did differently.[/QUOTE]plus, i've heard with adding fiber, you should start out in small quantities. and stay near a bathroom until your system gets used to all of the fiber it is digesting. OMG

The $0.55 reynolds MQ says "any size except 25 sq. ft". Smilie At Walgreens it doesn't beep on the 20 sq ft. so that should be any problem. The $1/1 bandaid MQ won't beep on the $0.99 bandaids as long as you have 1 less coupon than the number of bandaids.

All I had in my order were 11 boxes of bandaids and 3 reynolds. After the cashier scanned all the coupons, I suddenly remembered I only needed 10 boxes of bandaids. laugh out loud

Total was $1.02 + tax. Not worth going out of the way just for this but for me WAGs was right across the street from Target.

WARNING CVS QUESTION

I'm afraid to ask on the CVS forums because I don't keep up with them like I do at T...so was hoping some of you nice T-folk could help me out.

I read that the Charmin/Bounty ECB deal is still going on this week. Is it still working? Anyone know?

TIA. Grouphug

Does anyone know which insert the $1 off Temptations cat treats were found in? Is there a way to serach Taylortown or do you have to go look in each insert?

Nevermind I found it, I don't think my inserts have this one.

What q's are you guys using for overage, other than the Temptations?

I was just going to suggest the same thing.

Did you get hit with the storms that rolled through here earlier this evening? Nasty wind & lightning.
Glad you are ok Devilmomma, it was a bad storm. Now that its not 98 degrees I can walk next door to Kmart.

I know about dog treats and kitty litter, but what else am I missing?

Crest is $3 this week so wtih the $3 MQ's makes it free, no overage, though.

P.S. Glad you are okay, boy, that was scary!!! EEK!

Why didn't you get the Dasani at Target for 99? Or did you not want to try coupon there? I've stocked up for days from Target & WM with this coupon.

wave Stormycat....I read about your storm saga in the other thread. Glad you are ok. Mother Nature has been fierce this season in some parts.
Thanks SLickCate, neither wind not rain, nor sleet or hail shall keep me form getting to Target, or wait is that for mail delivery? lol

I can go to Target tonight when I drop my oldest off at the movies, since Target is right next door. I also have a choice of Targets when I drive him to NJ tomorrow.

My little one is climbing today, onto everything. Toys, furniture you name it. Its 8;24 and he is into everything. I think he has cabin fever since we have been cooped up in the house with the heat.

Maybe we will walk to Kmart today for some deals there. God could you imaging if it was a Target I lived next door to??????

Thanks! I will try to go by today.Luckily they are just down the road.

I forgot about the one more! Yesterday I got the (4)1.99 hbo's and used (4) 2.00 coupons, but it beeped on boxes 3 and 4. She pushed it through for both. But if that is the rule, only the last should beep, right?Confused
