All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! and yes, to the bastard who embezzled money and whoever it was all these years that never had ANY frickin checks and balances in place.. SCREW YOU!
Sorry, had to vent as this is doing a number on me
Also, thanks to a lovely trader here, kcchiefs, have 5 extra Diet Pepsi $5 rebate forms. The purchase deadline was 6/7, but if you bought 4 Diet Pepsi 2Ls anytime btw. 5/25 and 6/7, you can get $5 back. First five to PM me for these can have them.
ETA: Still have four pepsi forms left.
We wont know until DH gets ready to leave.. he just felt the look wasnt a good one since the guy always smiles at him and chats.. they are friends outside of work ...
also I went to make a sandwich today for lunch and noticed the rolls I had, a little mold on them, so I tossed them. I called hubby at work as soon as I noticed, but it was to late, he already ate them. He just came home from work, lightheaded, nausea, and stomach pain.
Has anyone eaten something w mold, and how long did you feel sick?
I think of it this way... I was a manager of a really large group once. There were some I socialized with outside of the office, and we always would smile and chat at the office as well.
But once, there was bad news to share. It didn't affect the ones I socialized with - they were wonderful employees and were very valuable to us.
When it was announced, I did not smile or offer them any reassuring look, as I thought that might seem inappropriate to others who were hearing the same news. To smile at them, or offer them some type of reassurance while others waited to hear their fate could have been seen by the ones affected by the news as being disrespectful.
And for those not affected, but who were friends with the ones who were affected, a sign such as that to my 'friends' might have come off as favoritism, and wouldn't have 'played well' for the rest of us as we worked through the situation.
So, let's keep up the hope that all will be ok for you and DH, ok?

I went in to get my wife some $5.xx feminine products, ugh, and to see if I could get a game they had. I took my $10 off Xbox 360 game coupon and a $5 off $25 toy purchase. The game in question was supposed to be $19.99 so I was hoping to walk out not paying much at all.
The guy rang up everything and then I saw the game was $29.99. I argued and said the price tag said $20. So we go and look and the game was in the wrong spot.
Just thought I would share my deal. Yeah, I know it was more human error than really a slick deal but hey, a deal is a deal.
.
also a question for cvs experts...i was doing the nivea deal and i had $2 IPQ...i purchased 4 nivea shave gel and tried using 4 cpns...1 went thru but the rest didnt..cashier tried to override but system wouldnt allow her...any idea why this could have happened and what i can do in such a situation...

i got more diapers today, tried 4 for the first time to test how many of the expireds i can give. i did get the beep of the 'limited 1 per guest' message on the 4th one, the cashier just handed it back. didn't say anything at all about the first 3.
also accidentally scanned the $5 giftcard coupon 5 times instead of 4, so ended up with an extra $5 off the order in addition to the 4 giftcards. helped cover the $2.
i love my target.
