This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I just do not understand the difference between going to Target every 7-10days..(i work 40hrs....go to school full time(even in the summer) at the university.) and people going 3,4,5,6,7 times per week...When I go I do it big because gas is to damn high and I do not have the time to keep going into a store..They see my face every 2 weeks(rotate). While some people on here get seen everyday. I save over 90%, just like everybody else on here..Or at least thats my goal So again moderation is relative and an opinion..Its like an ear everybody has them...

Soap Box
Anepu, you have a valid point. My point on the moderation thing, is the people that have a very small run, and use 5 toy q's on 2 toys (totalling much less than $50), and 3 party q's on 2 packs of plates with only a few other items in their cart. That, to me, is just asking for trouble.

But to each his own. One day they will get denied on their coupons and have to abandon cart, or pay alot more than they expected to. At which point we can only hope that they wise up and realize the mistake they made. Unfortunately, they will have to find that out on their own.

laugh out loud Seems just like what is being 'discussed' on the main T thread right now. Hated to put that much discussion into that thread, and was just expecting to get flamed at any moment over it, but some of the noobs need to understand the difference between getting a great deal and asking for trouble.

Still to this day I can hardly get through the line at Target without a bit of nervous jitters. For anyone who really knows me, they would be shocked to hear this. My friends know me as the woman in the song "I am Woman"! laugh out loud

You have a valid point, people just don't see that is what is meant because evertime the moderation montra is sung it has to do with large 3xx+ 4xx+ runs. soooo....it is assumed those are the people you are singing tooBig GrinCool

Personally I am not comfortable with my total going BC over $200 but I am a SAHM and during the school year I drive past a ST every single day.

Ok, just a suggestion, but I think those of us with experience need to either 1) stay out of the cereal thread or 2) post silly crap in there. I pretty much did the #2 I suggested, although I really planned to do #1.

Some jerko HD guys were asking for the scan of the printable coupons because 'they were at work and couldn't print them'. So I just had to point out they were suggesting we commit fraud.

I know, though, that staying out and not posting is best, as all another post does there is moves it back to the first page of HD. Grrrrr

Ok, so if I go to church on Sunday, I won't get any cereal, huh?

It's the first weekend in 6 months DH isn't working. I can actually get there in morning, little does he know that's my plan.

Was going tonight but too wired from weaning DS, he acts like I'm killing him.

Hi
I never can get these checks, are they still available?
If not , how can I find some?
Thanks

It's about 40 min but most of my stores are, it's just in a different direction. I can also hit one of my regular stores on way back if I plan it right. I'm betting it's a small neighborhood store but hey, if they have the inventory, I can hit it once a month. I'm hoping for easy ups, durex and Lumene. Don't think today but maybe friday or Sat.

DS first haircut tomorrow after work. Can't wait. Weaning off bottle and fighting with scissors in same week. I'm a lucky girl.

Ummm just so you know.....You might want DH to be with you for the haircut. My hubby sat in the chair and held him in a bear hug hold so he couldnt grab, but he did wiggle and managed to get several small cuts on the back of his neck. My guy had his 1st haircut a month ago, and it is past his eyes again.

ok so i know this isn't target deals but i was using up time to find peelies while waiting for dd so we could go to target and stopped in krogers. found similac cans of powder clearanced to 4.xx for the small cans and large cans clearanced to 6.xx and i know that is a super deal. the expiration dates were long too. not sure why they were there. they looked fine. so ymmv but it's worth a shot if you need them. plus gerber pacifiers were clearanced to .99. hope that helps someone.

The price might be regional. I guess we won't know til more people start getting their ads. It is a $5 GC for every 4 or 5 boxes.
