Average age for ttraining is 2 and could take a year (yes I know but I'm optimistic). Do they start going through less diapers during that year or is it still the 6-7 a day I have now at 17 months. Trying to figure out how many more size 6 packs I need. My stores don't have size 7

Gotta go run to KM, CVS and grocery store. Will do target run later tonight.

I really hate KM
My daughter just turned 2 and I keep HOPING she will be trained soon - I really don't see it happening though. Both of my boys were right at 3. My older daughter was only 18 months so I used to be optimistic about my youngest - definitely not anymore. Anyway....I am having a VERY hard time finding size 6s.

It's the first weekend in 6 months DH isn't working. I can actually get there in morning, little does he know that's my plan.

Was going tonight but too wired from weaning DS, he acts like I'm killing him.
Hi! Just wondering how your ds likes straw cups? Does he like drinking from a straw in your drink to "be like mommy and daddy?" If he does like them, then don't worry about the sippy cups and just move right to the straw cups? Also, if you still warm his milk up in the bottle, make sure you warm it in the cup too. That was the mistake I was making for about 2 weeks w/ ds #1. As soon as I started warming it up in the cup, he was happy!

Also, on the pt'ing, I have 2 boys and the trick that worked best was to turn them around backwards on the potty, either kneeling on the seat or sitting backward, so they can "see the action." No aiming required like that either! LMAO Get some cheerios/corn pops/cookie cereal/etc ready too so he can really point and shoot at the cereal you drop in the potty. If he really likes the game, pt'ing will be a breeze! hug

Forgot to add: On both the above - My suggestion is to make a REALLY REALLY REALLY BIG DEAL out of every success!! e.g. He takes the cup w/ little to no complaining, you've got to go crazy w/ him! Run around the house w/ him celebrating! Call grandma! Whatever he needs to feel like a big kid that has accomplished something! Give stickers, hand-stamps, treats, etc. Same thing with the pt'ing.

Hey guys...No Targeting for me this week ...a not so swell run on Sunday and then our world took a hit on Monday when we took the lil guy to the Pedi and got told they think he might have a skull formation disorder that causes the 5 plates in the skull to fuse prematurely causing less room for brain growth, swelling and a bunch of other possible issues..Crying...We took him for the suggested Xray and we havent heard anything back yet...We are trying to be positive, but when they were looking at the screen to make sure they got the pics they needed it just seemed like theywere asking a lot of questions and taking a lot of notes...Happy thoughts and prayers appreciated...Good luck this week getting all those cheapie/free diapers, wipeys and cereal!!hug

So does anyone here know if Target has the new LPS that are part of the Grooviest Series? I saw these at Kmart today, but would REALLY like to get them at T for my dd. WinkHere [hasbro.com] is a picture of one of them.

I have 2 of the 3 Punkiest ones so I need to get the 3rd one before they are all gone, but I was excited to see the new ones at Kmart!! I hope has them or gets them soon Smilie

should dogs eat cat treats?
I know that w/food, dogs can eat cat food but not the other way around since cats need so much more protein in their diets. I would guess the same would go for treats, but Dontknow

Hey everyone! Just got back from a week at Disneyland (I need a vacation from my vacation now!Cool ) and was just wondering if someone can help me catch up and let me know if there is anything major that I've missed!
I did go grocery shopping today and found peelies on Oscar Meyer's new bite-sized hotdog packages ($1 off 1) and $.75 off any Windex product (althought I know there is a $1 printable out there). TIA!

He won't drink from a regular sippy cup, tried it with juice since he was 8 months old. Only will drink with a straw or from a juice box. So we modify sippy cups to avoid spillage, stick a straw in them and we're lucky!

We haven't been warming since we took him off formula, no way.

Good tip on the big deal, I wish he talked though so he could realize that we're making a big deal. We do Yaa's and high fives (he loves high fives) but we'd love to do more.
