Thanks! I always thought it seemed kinda freaky when the tests claim to be able to tell you if you're pg 5 days "before your missed period"-- you mean the one I haven't had yet??

I missed the whole thing to, but I think I got the gist of it. I think someone talked about their Target run and some coupons they didn't get to use. Then another poster said what you aren't happy with what you got, and then called them the name. You know, because this is the Internet and they just love name calling someone they will never meet. Plus why they care what coupons someone uses is beyond me.

I would like to see Pretzels in action as well, the runs she posts are so good. I have heard Pretzels, is tall, pretty and nice. These are probably very good qualities to help make for a great run.

She has always been nice to me, and she sent me the Pepsi rebate forms.

Littleteapot, who is your picture of? Is there a lot of Targets in Illinois? Are there Super Targets in Illinois?

I am definetly seeing I need a routine, I am guessing we live close, because we are the only ones in the country that has a free zoo. Went to San Diego the first of June and couldnt force myself to pay to go to the zoo there, made no since when i had a free one back at home. Just found out that there is a 99% chance DH is getting laid off tomorrow... How scary.

I just read the last few pages and kind of got the gist of things! Wow....that's all I can say!

yeah it was pretty hairy earlier. It was all originally posted in the deals thread but the mods moved us here instead of deleting the posts. I am amazed that someone who just joined SD in may would the gall to come into our thread and start tearing into someone. I can only assume that person is just some ugly old hag that is bitter and angry about life. yeah, I know all about what happens when we assume stuff but I don't care. That was just wrong. I hope they feel ashamed for being such a witch!

There are a lot of Targets and Super Targets here. If we ever moved, my first concern would be "how many Targets am I going to be near?" Sick, right?!?!

LOL - I think you are the weekend right after I head to California! I'm really not as fun as you all are making me out to be.... but I appreciate the excitement.

. . . .so here we are 5 1/2 years down the road. i just got off the birth control a little more than 2 weeks ago, so likely it will take a few months for my system to get back on track and such and become pregnant (if i don't become so right away). as i'm expecting my cycle to not be as 'on track' as it has been for the last few years, if i miss i'll probably wait at least another week before taking a test. so no need for the more expensive tests for me.

dh and i are shooting to be preggers within a year. of course we hope sooner rather than later (but being i was on the bc the statistics say it will probably happen in 6 - 8 months from now). i can't wait to have another baby!!
at the very least, at least we get to have fun trying while waiting for it to happen.

Hi everyone - I have been off SD since Friday early morning and trying to catch up! Big task!

I got to meet thuctrang and littleteapot this weekend! Lots of fun!

So sorry you had a bad run Trang - hope you aren't disappointed! At least you got lots of stuff in my cart!

Littleteapot and I spent 3 hours at Target today Not shopping the whole time - but chatting. So wish you were a little closer!

yeah, it's something about how when you test before you actually miss, the hcg hormone level (or whatever its called) isn't as high and therefore harder to detect. so for each early day you test, makes those early tests more inaccurate because the possibility of them not being able to detect the hormone becomes greater.
so as for me, i'll wait the extra 5 or 7 days or whatever and then test - likely a week after i 'miss.' however, if i miss a 2nd time and am still getting negative results i'd go in and do the blood test and consult the doctor about the results if still negative.

with my son, i was a naive teenager. i didn't really think about taking a test.. you know.. because i was someone who could 'never' get pregnant according to my egotistical thinking. (i was such a dumb*ss back then, i know!)
but talking to a girlfriend of mine somehow the fact i was around 10 days late or so came up in the conversation. she actually bought me the hpt, a generic brand. and sure enough when i used it, came up positive in less than 30 seconds! i got the shocker of my lifetime - i can tell you that. lol

9 months later my son was born, and 3 months after that i got on the patch. no WAY was i going to have anymore unplanned pregnancies, i learned my lesson for sure the first time.
