Wow, that sounds sooo cool!!! Though they should let you do it with Q's bc we all know you get treated differently by some once they see the Q's!!! Mad

i was trying out a new cashier yesterday since all my jedi just come on the weekend..i just had 1 pack of diapers and wipes and just the legit cpns..she tells me i can only use 1 ..i ask her why and she sayd because you can use just 1 cpn on an item.you cannot combine mfq and tq..i said ok take the tq..and she read it again and said " you have to buy 2 sets of diapers/wipes to use this"..i said what..she says its on the coupon "$5 off wyb both diapers and wipes"..acc to her both means 2 diapers and 2 wipes....she just cracked me up..i said thanku and came back...the cashiers at my store suck...i have absolutely no choice on weekdays..every single cashier is an old man/woman reading every line and matching items...sometimes i feel like asking my jedi to tell me her schedule..but she never talks much..just keeps scanning and k1 and throwing her scanner arnd when it does not scan....

Saw this on the MSNBC web page:

Midland-based Dow said it will raise the prices of its products by as much as 25 percent in July after implementing across-the-board price increases of up to 20 percent on June 1.

The company makes everything from the propylene glycols used in antifreeze, coolants, solvents, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, to acrylic acid-based products used in detergents, wastewater-treatment and disposable diapers. Its products are sold in 160 countries
That's ridiculous! I read about their big increase last month, and now they are raising prices again? They are sounding like the post office now!

OK, question of the day.
I am secret shopping Target today. Have to spend at least $50, with NO coupons used. What would you buy?
Last week DH was with me on the run when I abandoned my cart due to the persnickety cashier. When we walked out, he tells me he should have told her that she blew it as I was urlhasbeenblocked! I'm not, and I told him that they would never tell this to a cashier! But I thought it was funny!

I feel your pain. Nice to hear not everyone's store is full of jedis all the time! My favorite T (of the 2 we have) sometimes only has 1 register open. Can't be too choosy about cashier in that case!

I think sometimes it seems that way because we have more good runs than bad but also we get lucky. I've tried new cashiers that K1'd away and new ones that read every line but then K1. It's YMMV like everything else at Target. It's timing too, go last thing at night or first thing in morning and there will never be more than one or 2 lines open. Go on a Sat at 3pm it's a madhouse and more likely to get coupons pushed through. Right after work is good as well.

weird never noticed that. Must go downstairs and look. That would suck if I had 50+ packs of the wrong easy ups.

Some like oranges say huggies are better. IMO I'm buying what's close to free and I'll deal with it later if they don't work for the kid.

I don't know why they would call them different things, but basically the Easy Ups are just diapers without the tabs. The Feel and Learn pants allow them to feel the wetness and are more for training IMHO. I like Huggies b/c they have velcro on the sides which is a nice feature. My pediatrician insists for girls - don't ever use pull ups. Just another diaper to them. She said the best way to go is straight to panties if you think they are ready for training. It worked for my DD, but I wouldn't be gutsy enough to try it for DS.

For the little man leaking out of diapers, might try a different brand. We have had episodes like that off and on with my son, and sometimes it just has to work itself out when another size or brand doesn't help. It always passes somehow! LOL! Good luck! I have one potty trained and one not as well (twins).

Yes there is a difference on the girls vs boys, it is in the padding placement. You can't tell by looking at them, but the boys has more absorbancy in the front, and the girls is more between the legs, if you use the wrong one and your kid pees alot at once (vs mine would go a little at a time more often) a girls diaper on a boy is more likely to leak, and a boys diaper on a girls also same problem, more likely to leek. since my dd wet her diaper small amounts more often it made no difference for us.

i think pampers has stopped the feel n learn (or atleast target does not have them anymore )..instead pampers added the feel wet liner to their easy ups...because on their website it says easy ups now with feel wet liner and these are called trainers...will have to call pampers
