Fraudulent toy q and original were posted at bulletin board and every register at my T yesterday. I'm bummed as I was planning on using this q (original of course) when buying my soon to be 3 yo's birthday presents. Crappy people had to ruin a good q for everyone Frown

I was pretty nervous to checkout with my about 20 q's as they were all printables (all legit, non-expired, correct products and quantities). I was afraid I'd get the no ip line that others have gotten, but it was smooth sailing for me. Teenage boy cashier K1'ed all my Buddies q's and my Kashi q's...

They had Kashi granola on clearance for $1.7x. It was on the end cap of cooler section with other clearanced foods.

I slept on it and I'm still really upset that I had my IPQ and MQ refused yesterday. I was considering writing/calling corporate to complain when I had this thought:

Stores get paid for the Q's we use. I mean, they get PAID -- At a premium (face value plus 0.08), even on IPQ. Which means we make these stores money. Not only that, but when was the last time you saw a non-couponer walk in and buy two carts full of goods, be happy about the total, and come back the next day to spend more? Look in your stockpile...we make these stores a LOT of money. If there was a printable for free diapers, would you not rent a uhaul each time you went to T? There sales would be through the roof!

The economy is down...some retailer are closing stores....if you were a retailer, wouldn't you like to know that your sales would always be up? That your customers could regularly buy a newspaper and it would be like printing money for your bottom line? Regular customers want you to drop your price so they can get a good deal. Couponers want a coupon for a free item which you get paid 0.08 more for -- and we'll buy an insane, ungodly amount of it. Who would you rather sell to?

I hate being treated like some kind of criminal when I regularly purchase as much as any 5 families combined. It's couponers and slickdealers that help stores clear their shelves of crap no one else would buy and still make money. It's couponer and slickdealers that help stores move product that no one in their right mind would buy and still make money. In this economy, it's couponers and slickdealers that are keeping store sales UP -- and we're getting treated like dirt instead. I'm friggin' sick of it.

Someone give me the address for Corporate. I want to print this out on my free HP paper with my FAR printer and mail them 500 copies using stamps I traded unused coupons for.

Someone earlier estimated that the $5gc would cost T $500,000? That's 100k x a $5 product. That's 10k x 10 multiples of a $5 product. How long do you think it takes us to make 10k trips combined in the US alone? A day? A week? A month? 50 states x 200 people per state...I'd guess we (couponers and slickdealers) bring in that much business every morning. Who in their right minds would turn that way?

I'm not talking fraudelent coupon here. They can and should have posted the WRONG coupon a while ago. I'm talking about legitimate coupons.

Grrrr....

Done.

Imagine a big budget musical (ok, it's SD, so a small budget musical). We're all at T, pushing loaded carts in harmony (like an Esther Williams movie, but shopping instead of swimming).

Sung to The Who's 'Baba O'Riley' a.k.a. 'Teenage Wasteland' (for you young'uns, the theme song to CSI:NY)

[SD'ers twirling and pushing their carts in sync]
Out here in the 'burbs, I fight for my deals
I get the kiosk to do my printing
I do need to fight, to prove I'm right
Calling corporate on the red phone

[SD'ers at the register, raising their left arm up beseechingly to the cashier]
Don't cry, don't flip your light
Just hit the K1 override

[SD'ers backflip over the counter, holding out a stack of Qs]
Jedi, take my Qs
What have you got to lose
OH NO, the LOD is coming over

[SD'ers sing to each other, shaking their heads sadly]
The update is here
The limits are dear
Let's go to Wal-Mart, before they get much colder

[Abandoned carts everywhere. No customers in sight, tumbleweeds rolling through the parking lot]

Target wasteland
Target wasteland
Target wasteland
It's only Target wasteland
They're all wasted!
