Republic Wireless
I've been researching multiple cell providers (R+, FP, RW, MetroPCS, Boost, TPO, Harbor, etc....) and wasn't sure where to share this information, so please excuse me if this is not the correct forum.
Republic wireless currently offers 2 phones, Moto G and Moto E, locked to RW (Sprint), but you can also purchase old RW phones like the DEFY XT and Moto X to reactivate with their service. In July, they will be adding 7 new phones or you can opt to BYOD! [republicwireless.com] New phone list and projected financeable costs can be found HERE [republicwireless.com].
To top it off, they will be adding an additional roaming cell carrier that will be based on the phone/plan you choose. c|net hints at it being T-Mobile. [cnet.com]
The article also states that RW will be changing their pricing structure to make a $20 tier that includes unlimited talk and text and 1GB of cellular data (currently $25 on RW).
I hope this helps someone else weigh their options.
