But some of what is going on lately is why I don't shop at the military commissary any longer. I became so fed up with having to search my bagged items to justify my coupon usage. It's like a personal affront to the stores if you have more than 3 or 4 coupons. I've noticed attitudes towards me at my closest store have changed drastically since I started doing larger runs, with 20 or more coupons, rather than going every day and using less than 10. Have to save gas too.
I remember reading that less than 5% of coupons are redeemed. So I guess people here, at FW and similar sites are the only ones redeeming coupons?
Target related- I'm loving those plastic milk crates in the dorm stuff right now. Two stacked together fit perfectly under each side of my bathroom sink to organize all my Pantene and toothbrushes. For under $4 a crate it works well.
Peelie found for 'Try Free OxiClean Spray A Way Instant Stain Remover' on a red bottle in the same aisle (some kind of OxiClean?).
Shutterfly peelies on Spy Kids & National Treasure.
Not sure if the following TPCs were mentioned, with all else going on this week:
$2.15 Chinet crystal cups & small pkgs of plates.
$3.79 & $3.99 Chinet large pkgs of plates
$2.49 - $6.79 Ponds
$2.19 Secret
I have a huge bunch of trade envies that came in today. I think we'll stop by T later so I can decode some of these new coupons.
Did someone say the H&S/Pantene peelie isn't working anymore?
I think she might have been referring to the T Pantene $2 q, it wouldn't scan for me the other day, but I thought it might be due to the other q's I used!

I do need to find a system for organizing all my Pampers and wipes though. The corner of my den is bursting at the seams.
Then again, we all know there are a lot of people abusing these coupons whether legally or illegally( $1 cpn on 0.95) travel size product. But lemme tell ya what I heard happened yesterday.
Someone and their son came in with a cart full of crest whitening strips returning them w/o reciept
Also, this just proves the point that a LOT of cashiers have no clue about coupons. Using a $1 off ANY XYZ product on a .95 XYZ item is perfectly fine. Cashiers should be trained in how to modify the price of the coupon not just assume that the customer is doing something wrong by redeeming it.
H&S/Pantene peelie works fine, no problem.

The cashier told me there were people who figured out a way to abuse them and that it was being spread online.
I just have to tell you guys about my Target run yesterday. I went during the daytime which I NEVER do. unless I'm peelie snatching or checking out clearance I only went to get some pop and ice cream for our family bbq. I was buying 12 12-packs, 4 Dreyer's ice cream, 1 Breeze/Contour meter, 4 Kraft cheese, 8 Nabisco Ritz bits crackers to go cups. I was planning on using 1 $5/50, 12 TQs for the pop, 1 Breeze/Contour coupon, 4 FREE Kraft cheese WYB any 2 Nabisco crackers, 8 TQ for .50 Nabisco crackers. She was pissed that I was buying A&W and ice cream and getting the ice cream FREE. She kept saying "it wasn't right" Then she was really pissed when I had coupons for each of the 12-packs. She made a HUGE stink about the cheese coupon. I made her read the coupon out loud and that made mad when it said any Nabisco crackers. She said "they wanted you to buy 2 of the boxes of crackers to use this coupon" I said "No, if they wanted me to buy a certain size it would say what size" I even took out another Nabisco coupon that I had with me that said 5 oz. or larger. She wouldn't budge and called an LOD over. The LOD's reason for rejecting the coupon was that it says "not to be doubled or tripled" I said that doesn't apply in this situation as we have no stores that double or triple coupons. By this time another cashier (older lady) had come over to see what was going on and she agreed with me about the double/triple thing. Then he said he thought that it wasn't right and told me he would only do one of those coupons as a courtesy thing. I told him that I was fine with taking those items off and would just go to my local grocery store and use them. She didn't even read the Breeze/Contour coupon and flipped on her light because "it was for more than the price of the item" I told it said upto $30 and she turned off her light but someone had already come over to help. She was pretty embarassed about that. The best part of this story is that my sister-in-law went to the same Target about little while later and the LOD was telling her that she could only use 1 of her Ziploc coupons because they say one per purchase. She said "Yeah I'm purchasing 10." He then said, "You coupon people kill me." She asked him what he was referring to and he said "the people that abuse coupons like the lady that came in this morning and who purchased 2 nabisco crackers for $1 each and wanted to use a coupon for $2.99" My sister-in-law told him that isn't abusing coupons if there was no size indicated on the coupon and why did he care? He said "people can't walk out of here with free stuff." UHHH... I hate to rub it in or disappoint him but I've getting free/cheap stuff from Target completely legit for awhile. I actually didn't care too much about the cheese so I just took it off. I didn't think it was a big deal. I do however have a problem that he was talking trash about me to another customer (he didn't know she was related to me). I am halfway tempted to go talk to him the next time I see him at Target and give him and earful in front of his "head of store" about talking smack about customers to other customers. Sorry for the book. What do you think?
Having a problem here and not sure what to do.
I gave blood today around 1:30, it is not my 1st time although it has been awhile. I know how you usually feel tired and yucky, but I am really feeling bad.
I am short of breath, and my pulse is 100, but was in the 120's earlier. I do have a hx of SVT, but usually only have symptoms when pregnant.
Anyway I am sitting here short of breath, and that heavy feeling. I have been all day since giving blood. i am taking it easy and drinking some fluids. I am not so bad sob that I am wheezing or having a really hard time. I can talk and get up and everything, but just walking no more than 10 ft to the bathroom, was not only exhausting, but made me more sob. I am also dizzy and felling just overwhelmingly exhausted. I had to go to Target and get milk, and the girl was shocked that I had no coupons, couldnt even do a real run, just needed to get in and out.
I am trying to decide Suck it up, call the Red Cross, or go to the dreaded ER
Any opinions out there

She calls for help. I dont know..he was the LOD the GSTL the ABC whatever his letter title was and he takes me to another register. I said to him I understand you guys are having a problem with some coupon usage but that is no reason to treat a customer like a criminal. Not all people who coupon commit fraud. He mumbles something and starts to scan away. We are at the 5 off 3 again. I told him what I had he just pushes them thru. Then we get to the T 1.00 Heinz/A1/Jack Daniels q..and he is staring at the print out for the toy coupon! I mean really get a life..you have posted it all over the store and you cant remember if there was anything on that flyer about steak sauce!!! So he pushes that thru. We get to the ETQ for magnetix..that doesnt need a K1 or anything just goes on thru...what a system! Beep for something valid..dont beep when its not.
Well overall the trip was fine in the end....56.xx BC 13.xx AC..but who needs this aggravation!!!

I am an emergency room nurse----It is very hard to diagnosis like this--but if you have a history of SVT and still are feeling bad after eating something and drinking fluids and resting for a while, i would go get checked out especially if your heart rate stays up with symptoms of shortness of breath. Better safe then sorry!! Hope you feel better soon.
