i had a decent run today..went to a new target...there was noone in there..just empty..i wanted to turn back and run but DH said go in have fun...just 2 lanes open..but the store was stocked with everything...also found the sunsilk peelies....i have never seen those double pack of sunsilk bottles at my stores....my main aim was to buy a radioflyer cycle, got it along with the usuals...BC was 200.xx, AC was 60.xx.....could have been better but here is what happened....when i went to checkout suddenly a girl opened a new lane and i had to go there...she looked like a GSTL or someone...she startes scanning and keeps going...she starts getting pissed when she sees i have TQ for goodlife..she kept checking her screen that system was taking it...once my buddies beeped, she found a reason to start rejecting my cpns...did not adjust the cpn down, same with durex....she was like you would be getting it for free as if she is paying from her pocket...i showed her the letter but no use....she is like you just cannot take stuff for free..i would have called thee LOD but kids were acting nasty so had to make a run....missing cpns galore, some cpns which she k1'd are missing...i am thinking she k3'd instead of k1'd.....this johnsons deal is nice but why does the cpn beep....

I sincerely hope that everyone who was in pain and/or ill is better now. Having guests all summer has limited my shopping. I have been playing tour guide/chauffeur laugh out loud It is so worth it since the memories are priceless. heart We took our new/temporary foster d to the dentist Friday. Mounted at eye level when one is in the patients chair l was a plaque.It said,'UYou do nt have to floss all your teeth..just the ones you want to keep!" LMAO I need to head out to buy some more floss! Even the guests kids are using it now. Our 17 year young ddoggie has 5 teeth left. The girls wanted to floss them today!bounce We also have a dear 4 year young male bunny. Rabbits teeth never stop growing. We took him to the vet to have his right back molar clipped and filed etc. last week.$$. you can also put a block of wood in his cage - he'll chew on it and that will keep his teeth under control so you won't need to have the vet clip them down. we did this with our bunnies all the time when i was younger. nod

I know what you mean! I need to get some more pampers (I only bought 2 packs this whole time)...My target kinda scares me! LOL! I am going to brave it out tomorrow and bring someone with me so we can each get 4 diaper deals!Smilie

Hey all, had a pretty good run at T today. Put a $20 GC on up front to make my overages a little less apparent. They ended up taking everything except the T fur fighters q's. I think the young guy got a bit nervous when he saw my total going lower and lower and the joint juice manu q is beeping. LOD comes by to check on him, agrees he can scan them through. Basically took $5 more out in gift cards than I spent, so it was a good trip.

I got lots of stuff we can use, too.

Black dot dollar spot stuff is 75% off, but pretty cleared out. Red, white and blue decorated cookies & cupcakes are 50% off - yum! Milk by the gallon said it was reduce priced, but was still $3.64. Vlasic pickles are $1.79, I think it's a TPC, makes them 79 cents with the printable q.

I am very excited about the P&G insert, I just need to go get a few more whole inserts. Smilie

I was so tempted to get more diapers today, but I only went to Target so that I could speak to a manager regarding my concerns about their erratic and illogical coupon acceptance policy. The manager said that there is too much to learn to expect all front end staff to know about the one TQ/ one MQ policy.Confused Doesn't make sense when so many customers know the policy.

Then I was told that they are having problems with customers trying to use two coupons for one product. I asked for clarification and was told that some of her team leaders told her they had talked to customers that tried to use two coupons for one item. Yep, and I bet they didn't say one of those coupons was a Target coupon now did they. Mad I asked about the "one per transaction" vs "one per purchase" and got a blank stare in response. And she grilled me on where I get all of my coupons. You know, usual suspects: target.com, coupons.com, smartsource.com and buy lots of Sunday papers. Cool

It was a fruitless discussion, she said she would talk to her staff and make sure they are all aware of the policy. I'm sure this won't make a bit of difference but geez at least stop making us feel like we are a criminal.

(anyone know if it's true that there are cameras above each register and they review them daily to match coupons up to products purchased? That's something I was told recently at this store also)

Im glad you are out there fighting the good fight!! I really dont think that the check the videos at all. Thats a lot of extra manpower and such, I would think they would be looking more for employee stealing and cashier training. I think that as long as they have lets say 100 coupons for cheerios and they sold 400 of said cheerios they are fine.
I think if its the other way around they get in trouble. I think the manufactures even request info of what is sold to make sure they are selling what the coupons are used for.
Ive read stories where there are serious serious fraudsters around who get 1000's of coupons roll them around in a drum to look used and send them in to get the $$ from the manufacturer!!!!.

Yes, they do have cameras trained on each cashier, and they can zoom in on exactly what is going on. However, I do not think they monitor them for coupon usage! They are there to investigate when needed.

Had Great Target Day!! I found an 300.00 air purifier by 3M for 75.00 0850000101 (number from clearance sticker) It rang up as not found but they gave it to me for 75.00.
Real Simple Cleaning products seem to be on the way out also..I picked up a scrub mop with a microfiber layer that picks up the hair and stuff, its removable and washable. Number from clearance tag was 002090345 Original price was 14.99 clearance 3.74.

I should have added that I do know there are cameras above each register, just as they are sprinkled throughout the store, but I was doubting that it was there for the sole purpose of catching customers passing "fraudulent" coupons. ** keeping in mind that the same store employee that told me the camera story also said that I was lying about the 1 TQ/ 1 MQ.

Hope everyone has had a safe and happy holiday! Went to 2 new T's on my trip to NC this weekend. Took my family with me, didn't have many q's, so I printed a few TQ's, and Planters Q's. On the way stopped by the gas station and found b1g1 Dr. Pepper Big Grin So made for LOTS of free soda and ice cream.

For anyone in NC or Alabama...Be on the lookout for tearpads in the gas stations. I found some in NC on the beer cooler doors for 'Save 1.00 on a gallon of gas up to 20 gallons, no beer purchase required. Valid in NC and Alabama only" I believe they were from Miller.

First store I went in took all q's, mfg and printed, no signs posted and great cashier...accross town at the other T, the sign was posted. My cashier took all q's, but the cashier ringing up my sis-in-law didn't want to take her printed q's. ...she called the LOD who came over and told her it was ok to take IP's.

Me too stormy, hurts like hell. Lesson learned, don't stand over little guy when going to pick him up. I mean this is serious stuff, I think jaw is out of alignment now and possible dental work.

What's up with Ryan--still not eating? I hope it's nothing, please keep us posted.
