I haven't been on a run in awhile and just started a new (full-time) job last week...was planning a run for tomorrow/Tues for Aquafina and Pampers.... and realized I have no idea where my small accordion-file organizer is! Most I can re-print if necessary, but there were also quite a few peelies and MFQs in there as well! Down

I need to get my ass off SD and look harder.... laugh out loud

ETA: I just felt the need to share my pain....
hug Awww Smegs, I hope you find it soon!! I lost mine once, but thankfully it was when I wasn't a serious coupon user. You kow, when I was a just an amateur using the occasional coupon out of the insert at the grocery store. If I lost mine now, I'd be devistated! laugh out loud

What really sucks is though i have health insurance, i have NO freakin' dental!! that tax refund which was used to pay off some CC debt would have just paid for those new teeth i am needing. I haven't been out shopping too much becauxe i am more than a little embarrassed to be walking around looking like a pumpkin.Frown So i am trying to rebudget to fit in this new expensive procedure. I know I'm not the oldest around here, but it sure seems that way. But I only feel about 27. Cool

My opinion on how many diapers to have......
My youngest was born a little early and has always been small. She was in size 1 forever. She's now in size 4 and she's almost 2 1/2. She has been in 4's since last year. But, I have a friend with a 15 mos. and she's in 5's and almost 6!!! So, it's hard to tell since each child is differant, but 3/4/5's are always good to have tons of.

It's always better to have the bigger sizes on hand since you can always put them in bigger, but not smaller (that's where the leaks start). So, if you have only 4's and you run out of 3's, you can easily put them in 4's and just sinch them a bit without any problems.

I was in double digits too........only my 20's instead of my 10's! Wink I was going to discos at the time dancing to "I will survive!" Now that really dates me!

You do have an age span there! I have one who will be a junior in college and one who will be in 8th grade. I think I'm shocked that I'll be 50 on my next birthday. I don't think I should be that old!

My 13year old chipped his front tooth last summer when a neighbor kid threw a metal scooter handle and it hit him in the mouth. Of course I wasn't home when it happened.....I was at CVS! He did get it bonded at the dentist and you can't even tell. The dentist said that eventually he'll probably want to have a crown put on when he's older, but for now it's fine. Maybe you could do the bonding thing for now and it wouldn't be so expensive. That's my worst nightmare.....chipping or knocking out a tooth.

I don't know where this trend here recently came from, but just having a PDF is not a 'vector' and it sounds ignorant to anyone involved in computer graphics.

Bitmap graphics are the pixel images that you normally see, jpg, gif, and the pictures that come out of a digital camera.

Vector graphics are those that are created by software like Adobe Illustrator. Instead of drawing in 'pixels', lines and shapes are created with formulas that describe the edges and colors and only the formulas for describing the lines are saved.

Just creating a PDF does not make a bitmap into a 'vector', whatever you think that means. The PDFs that are posted in the wiki contain bitmap images (sometimes 8 copies of the same image). These original images can be individually extracted back out of the PDF with software like photoshop to prove that they were originally bitmaps (just like the original target coupons are).

PDF printouts are advantageous only in that they will print at the same size as the original print.

The only way a PDF will have vector graphics is if it was created by an illustration program such as illustrator or corel draw directly. Vector graphics can be resized to any resolution and will remain just as sharp. Posters here saying 'vectors' are just parroting whoever started this incorrect phrase to seem more informed themselves. Please stop calling the PDFs that you printed 'vectors', it's just really annoying!
Ok, since I use Adobe Ilustrator and/or Photoshop to pull the graphics out of an original pdf what should this be called? If I use PS the pdf is rasterized. If I use Illustrator and save the graphic as an SVG then what would you prefer me to call it?

Quote from SRM :
DH is an IT geek so I'm well aware of what a vector is.

Personally, I don't give a rat's behind what anyone calls the files. I just appreciate when someone takes the time to make the mpp for anyone and everyone to use. As long as they scan for most people--- WHO CARES??! And for those who complain that someone's coupons 'never scan', 'are blurry', 'shouldn't be called vectors' blah blah blah-- feel free to contribute YOUR mpps for us all to use rather than flap your gums over someone else's attempt to help others.
Are you freaking serious? Take a look at the paperclip and you will see my contributions.

Vectors (the coupon graphics were extracted from a pdf using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop):
Vlasic
Tide
Pepsi B4G1
Land o Frost
Gold n Plump
Gerber
Fur Fighter MQ
Entemanns MQ
Kingsford MQ
Smartwater MQ 9pp
Pampers $5 GC wyb TQ

Multi pp coupons (jpgs that have been placed into word multiple times and converted to a pdf):
Pampers $5 wyb TQ
Pampers $2 ETQ
Sheba TQ

Unfortunately with the thread retiring the attachments fall off as my OP is in the retired thread and others have reposted these files that I authored.

I suppose it will be easier for me to just lurk in the T thread. Thanks, I won't contribute any more and trust me there will be no "flapping of my gums".

That is one of my worst nightmares too... doublesided made me cringe with her story Comfort

Not injury related, but still mouth related... in January/February I was sick for weeks - started out with a virus very suddenly and then it turned into a massive sinus infection and ear infection... first dr. refused to do anything for me (told me to just keep taking cold/sinus OTC meds and IB profen - even though they weren't helping and I slightly ODed on them... it was bad)... I ended up in urgent care a few days later when I had over a dozen sores in my mouth - canker sores. Around my teeth, gums, back of my throat making it hard to swallow... Most pain I have ever been in. They gave me a numbing solution for it that worked wonders and just a day after starting antibiotics I was already feeling so much better.

For those with very expensive ER fees, check out what your urgent care fees are - it wasn't as expensive for me and they were much more personable than what I've found at ERs.

Iagree cpngirl When I repost the paperclip items I give credit in the post to Whee, Thrifty, LovemyChaos and MFH . I appreciate everyone's contributions to the thread for the multi pp PDF's. As long as they scan that's all that matters. nod

Some people prefer the vector coupons and others have success with the non vectors. I suppose it's a matter of personal preference.nod
