So I was telling my wife tonight that I read on SD that the pampers points no longer have a reward for free diapers. She looked at my bags from Target today and said "They ran out free diapers?? Why don't they just go shop at Target and get some more". laugh out loud I thought it was funny enough I had to share with the class.

I am LIVID right now. My GF can not find the $1300 paycheck (tuition reimbursment) I gave to her about 6 weeks ago. I gave it to her while I was working and told her to bring it home. ( I work at the grocery store and did not want to lose it) Now I want to use it to buy my furniture from IKEA and it is no where to be found.!! Mad

i've always learned from my grandma about couponing.

i asked her to save the coupons from her inserts so i could help her find good deals, and she freaking gave me a suitcase full of NO EXPIRATION coupons! laugh out loud it was hilarious bc half the product i'd never even heard of they were so old! and the others were like save 10 cents on eggs. thats all it said! no brand or anything...
That's funny! My Grandma always couponed & stockpiled too. When I was newly married and went to visit her she would always tell me to go "shop in her store." She had a bedroom with shelves where she kept all her extras. My Mom said that she would always come over when she was newly married and I was just born with laundry soap that she got cheaply with coupons. She collected coupons from anyone she could! I always say, that Grandma would be proud of me and my stash!!
Tomorrow morning on Good Morning America they're doing a story about coupons. "Do you clip coupons and find that stores are no longer accepting them? Stores are complaining about coupon fraud. Do you know the difference between a real coupon and a fraud?" We'll have to watch and see how well we all know our coupons! laugh out loud

With the younger generation that uses more coupons, I think the computer age has alot to do with that (IPs).

Is my memory faulty or did most of the inserts years ago had perforations so you can tear out the Qs easier? Wishing for this to come back as I'm cutting out my P&G Qs...

I cut 30 inserts about 2 nights ago and my fingers were hurting. I see why some people charge that handling fee. I did that stapling and cutting trick that someone posted on here from youtube. I never thought to do it that way before. I use to only get about 4 inserts though...Now I am hardcore. LMAO

Hey does anyone have an idea why the 2.25 electrosol q is so great on Early Bird Qs? I just saw her promoting it special...

Probably because the product often is often on sale for 2.50

I know I stocked up a few months back with a similar deal Smilie
yep, the last time I got it there were bonus packs being clearance between $2.27 and $2.54 (depending on Target location). legit and dirt cheap coupon usage going for dishwasher detergent there!! laugh out loud

oh thats nice...
then the 25 cent off coupons will reallllly be worth it...Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
that's soooo what i'm thinking. if they want to jack prices up 25% they should also release coupons that are.. 4x higher than they are now. even people who don't coupon are going to seriously be feeling it when they buy the 'bulk' size that used to be $16 and now it'll be $20. EEK!
(and like you said, what good is a $.35 coupon on that? at least on smaller sizes that cruddy coupon sort of covers tax for the item.. but won't do that anymore when the prices go up.)

i think contrary to what p&g thinks, people WILL be more willing to switch back down to generic brands. if even after coupons generic is cheaper, THAT is what people will buy. sure, inflation pushes prices up. but consumers will only tolerate so much % at a time. Mad

oh god, i remember when i used to sit and do like 40 inserts at a time. shake head
after a couple months of that, i decided it was worth the $70 investment to get one of those guillotine paper cutters. now all i do is seperate all the different pages, and i can cut on average 10 pages at a time.
i do still use scissors to cut apart coupons that are too close together (that look like might accidently cut off things with the cutter). but for the most part clipping my coupons is a much much faster process. laugh out loud

No Target for me today, took the little man to get his bloodwork done, they took 4 tubes, he was such a good boy. Did make 2 Kmart runs, nothing too exciting although extra 20% off toys, and I only bought 1!

I got a bunch of envies from Bricks today and from sd'rs and an order of scrapbook supplies. I litterally had like 20 envelopes to open, it was sweet!

Yaaa for you!! I'm sending you another tomorrow. Littleteapot and Pretzels, you two have envies coming as well. I mailed 5 today and have another 5 sitting here. Should calm down after the initial P&G craze.

Thankfully rubbermaid is on sale next week, I need more totes for these always. Already getting the dirty look from hubby, they really just don't fit/stack anywhere. And not exactly the type of thing he wants laying around his workshop

Dentist said too soon to tell what kid did to my jaw. No chewing, soft diet for a week, took xrays will call if jaw is broken. If not, need to wait 3 weeks and see what the teeth do, apparently it will change over the next couple of weeks and then they'll be able to assess damage. Fantastic.Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
