This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Just a heads up, not sure if it is only my local stores or not but Walgreen's was GIVING AWAY Sunday papers this weekend (some sort of promo). Our papers here are $1.75 so they're not cheap. One store even let me take 10!!!! The other store I went to I got my free one and then bought 9 more with RRs. Not too shabby...might be worth it to check your local WAGS!!!
Now, even though I got free papers I'm still
3-yr-old: "I want to go swimming."
Sister: "I can't go." (b/c of her period)
3-yr-old: "Why?"
Sister: "Um, because I'm bleeding."
3-yr-old: "You fell????"
Yesterday I set him up on my PC to play Playhouse Disney so I could take a shower in peace... I got out and went to check on him and he looked at me, waved his hand toward his room and said "Mommy, I'm okay in here, you just go clean up my mess in my room"...
...and that was the end of that...
...and then... Saturday we're out to lunch and my son looks straight at my DH and says, "Daddy, God made me"... my DH looked like he was going to choke.. he looked at me and whispered "where did that come from?".. so I quietly explained that it was more honest than the stork, but less graphic than reality... I'm good with "god made you" for a few more years...

here's my dumb question of the day. I am a single girl, no kids, no use for pampers, so I didnt pay attn to the deal. MOms going to a baby shower, and asked me about getting diapers. Can some one pm me the specs, like can u use the $5 off 2 and the $5 gc together, or no, etc. I glaze over those posts usually cuz I'm dreaming of jello shots (thats for Ro,) not baby bottoms. And in that note, I have 27 pg inserts full of baby qs that I will be disposing of after I give a few to mom for that gift. If the person who pms me about the deal wants them, send an addy. I hate to see a q go to waste!!!!!!!!!
Yes, you can use both $5 gc and $5 wyb tq's. Sent you a PM. I'm heading home now, but I'll be back on tonight if you have any questions.

If not getting a high amount Q is the worst of my worries....I'm doing pretty good!!!!
TIA
Also, I have 8 of the Electrosol Q's, and no dishwasher (just a lousey portable one we use for Thanksgiving) so, anyone who wants to trade, PM me. I did get the higher value one. Will be back on later tonight, I think.
Of course, it didn't help that I was clueless and had to rely on so many people. Learn something new everyday...
Now, back to SD on my own computer...

Kids and I are happy that I now have my own toy.
DH just rolled his eyes and said, "Now, you're stuck to that thing. Maybe I should find a way to break it again."
