Thanks for all the tech help. I THINK I MAY have gotten rid of at least most of the problems since I have been online for about 15 minutes with no redirects (fingers crossed). Does anyone know anything about Ewido? Microsoft remotely ran this one and it pulled so much spyware off my pc EEK! I'm just wondering what I should install now as far as a paid antivirus/spyware? Obviously Mcafee wasn't working for me Mad
Download AVG [avg.com] for your anti virus protection. It's free, and doesn't have the bloatware like Norton or McAfee, and does a great job.

I second that! My DH is a security engineer, and this is the one he prefers for us, too. He would never put something on our computer unless it's really good....

I was thinking of donating some of my stuff to the homeless shelter in my area,(ex. trial size shampoos, toothpaste, ect.) although I am afraid they will ask me how I got so much of one item. Did anybody else ever donate and was any questions asked?

EEK! OMG!! I think our DH's might've been separated at birth
My DH is a plumber that is constantly lending $ out (usually to his family members that for one reason or other (usually laziness) don't want to work...shake head ) and we've NEVER been paid back any of it. He's been "remodeling" my guest bathroom for two years b/c he's so busy doing "free" sidework for everyone else that he doesn't have the time or energy to work on our own house... I'm so glad that I'm not the only one!!! bounce
Yup too nice for his own good!

I haven't read in the T thread in 2 full days EEK! I am scared to open it and see ALL the pages I am behind in!! Maybe I will try tomorrow laugh out loud I did have 5 runs in the last 3 days (4 different stores) with 4 GREAT runs and 1 ok run laugh out loud I had to do some immediate returns so it made that run good. I guess that is the risk you take when trying a new store
It's ok...it has been slow moving lately...most of the posts have been MA'ed for some reason or another Dontknow

Someone listed like four free programs for you to use. Try those first, why pay for something when you can get it free?

I personally know my kiddo; ds17 uses some of those programs on my pc. One of them blocks me from printing coupons until I accept that program. Otherwise all is good.

I heart ZoneAlarm. It has a bar that shows traffic in and out and provides a dialogue box that indicates when a website is trying to access your computer as well as another dialogue box when there is an attempt at a registry change on your pc.

I have attached some screen shots...HTH..ok just one, I realized the dialogue box showed my ip and y'all don't need to know that. LMAO

Edit: and you can lock down the traffic if you need to step away from the computer.

Ok here comes another rant. I bid on a couple of sets of coupons and got outbid and I didn't bid again because it wasn't worth it to me. The auctions ended and then someone somehow retracted their bid after the auction had already ended. So now I have to pay for the extra auctions that I didn't actually win. Why the hell would someone outbid someone on an auction and then change their mind after they bought the auction? So long story short I have twice as many Lamisil $4/1 coupons than I need. I am really quite pissed. But if anyone wants and/or needs any $4/1 any Lamisil coupons, I will have 40 of them up for trade later this week when I get them.

I think I will just take a small amount in first to see what they say then ask them if they can use more when I have it?
Thanks for the reply. Do you ever get a receipt?

Thanks for your reply. I was thinking of asking for a receipt to but I wanted to see if anybody else does. I didn't want to sound greedy as we get the stuff for a little bit of nothing.

Well it is good that it has been slow moving. I decided to not read until tonight at work laugh out loud I bought 6 of the Rubbermaid totes this last week and decided to re-organize all my stuff!! 3 totes full of toys (new in package), 1 tote of Always, 1 tote of wipes (with MANY more not in the tote Sadwalk) and 1 tote of diapers (which actually didn't hold that many diapes so I am going to take them all out and figure out how to get all the diapers to fit into Soph's closet). So tiring laugh out loud

Sucky that someone is MA ppl. Wonder why??

You shouldn't have to buy them if someone outbid you, even if they did retract. just send a message to the seller and tell them that you ordered elsewhere when you were outbid, and that you don't need them. It's the seller's problem, not yours..they will have to deal with the person that retracted their bid.

Agreed. I did that once and had no problem.

I need more rubbermaid bins. But I think I'll wait until I'm done with pampers to buy them so I know how many more I truly need. I'm going to hit KM for a few tomorrow if I have time.

I need some advice on returns. I did a run today that was pretty good but the guy missed $14 in coupons and somehow my raincheck for the wipes didn't take. So about $16 total missed. I don't do a lot of returns and I don't like to, but this guy was shady about the coupons and when I asked him to double and triple check that the rc worked and that certain coupons went through, he "promised" me that they had. I was in a hurry or I would have taken care of it before I left, although I didn't really check til I got out to the car.

Anyway, he missed the recently expired $5/$50, the $4 fur fighter Target coupon and the $5 barbie/hot wheels peelie for the barbie jump rope. Only thing is, I bought a lot of groceries with my overages and I don't want to return those as I know they would salvage them. The only non grocery items I got were the diapers and wipes, fur fighter refills, barbie jump rope, 5 durex, 3 ($1.04) carefree panty liners and 3 buddies soap. I don't *need* any of these but is it weird to return any of these? I was thinking maybe just return the fur fighter and the jump rope??? Then I'm not out quite as much but I'm still po'd that I lost out on one of my barbie/hot wheels peelies and the overage it should have brought. So my question is - what would you guys do?? If he had said anything about the exp $5/$50, I wouldn't have had any issues with them not taking it and if he had said anything about the fur fighter, I would have just taken it off. But I'm just getting super fed up with cashiers missing so many coupons.
