and I haven't seen it on here yet, but there was a coupon on www.scrubbingbubbles.com [scrubbingbubbles.com] for $2.75 off of a scrubbing bubbles action scrubber and my paper had an insert for FAR... so it's a good way to make an extra $2.75 on each...?? (especially for those lucky ones receiving the Bzz campaign...)
Sooo, I wonder how many orders I really have out there in their lovely system. Cuz let me tell ya...I hit that back button, submit order button...quite a few times!! I could have, literally, 100 books coming my way! GG......
But I have I think 7 more that have been charged (2 of them twice), but never got the order to officially go through just the error at the end and no confirmation. If they go through thats great, I will give my double order to my SD buddy. If they dont go through no biggie, just as long as the charges drop off, they (my bank) has told me before 10 days for them to drop off.
I did get one order to go through last night, Used a Different computer, new email, hubby's name and his charge card, and it went through. I am anxiously awaiting some shipping notices though.
Have to run to the PO, no Target for me until Thursday and then I have to use up a ton of diaper q's or let them go to waste, eeekkk

Haven't checked my bank account, but sometimes that happens, check your borders account and see if it shows two pending transactions. No need to wait on the bank you can see if there are any on the Borders site under account info.
do you think i should wait until these no longer say 'pending' before calling? in other words, wait until Borders has actually gotten their money to complain?
tried again at 2am last night, site was running much better. got completely different books, not as many, under a different email. everything went through just fine until i got to that final page and got a 'cannot process at this time' message. knowing the issues with the other transaction, i immediately checked online bank statement and the $13.99 is pending for this new one. i only tried the 1 time - and checkout told me borders was 'unable to process'. obviously they were able to process something because i've got charges pending for a transaction that told the consumer that no order could be made at the time.
again, i haven't received any emails whatsoever and the borders website shows no transaction history at all. i printed out the order summary pages so i have an order # along with book titles and sku's if it comes to calling. the transaction i did last night was done as a guest, no account, so i have no idea if that's saved in the system at all (i know it's not on my side). i know.. not a very good idea, but it was the only way i could check out without having the order combined with the cart from the first order. the first order has got the order # and everything, but if anything is changed at all to the order it never gets passed the first checkout page. it gets the 'this action is temp unavailable' or whatever it is message. the only way of making a 'new order' is by hitting the cancel order button or deleting stuff from the cart (don't know if deleting and adding stuff would work) - neither of which i wanted to do. because obviously i DO want the books i ordered and don't want to cancel.
so, for the first transaction i still have a cart of books. and the second i have nothing because it was done as a guest. but i do have printouts of both transactions from the order summary page showing the books, shipment info, order #, transaction $$ and all that.
i'm really hesitant to try this again until i see what happens with these charges after the pending status changes. we just don't have the spare money to make 10 different transactions, get charged for them all only to receive 1 of the 10. and then go through process of getting all that money back. DH is mad at me enough with these 3 charges as it is.
they are either going to go through and i'll get the books or they are not. but at the risk of having more $$ being held in our account ($$ for pending transactions is not available for us to spend elsewhere), i really can't justify trying it again.
any suggestions in regards to these pending charges? do you think waiting it out and see what comes of them is a good idea.. as in, what until the charges are finalized before calling? (or call before charge finalization to ensure getting the orders pushed through, which could also risk them getting cancelled?)
i do want the books and have decided if i get the books from the double charge from the first transaction i won't mind getting those duplicate books as i can just give them away as gifts to other kids in our family. (would rather get the duplicate books than call and point out how cheap i got them all for.) if these orders get shipped i'll be beyond stoked and this crap will have actually been work it.
i suppose that because i just don't know what is going to happen with these pending charges, i am for lack of what to do in the meantime. i guess really.. is i want assurance i'm going about this the right way. would any of you do this differently? i've never gone for a really hot online deal such as this before so not sure how the 'experts' cope with difficulties.

I could have 10 pending orders with 25 books in each!! Lord knows I don't need 10 Barbie Animal Magic paint books!! I "think" there was only one order that I actually had to pay for anything. the 2nd transaction i did last night i only tried once, tentatively. got error message that it couldn't process. yet pending charges were on our account after only that 1 try.
i emailed my sis in chicago about it - and the fact its not so much that i may not get these books. every deal like this is totally ymmv. i'm just ticked funds are being held and i have no idea if we're even getting what we're paying for yet. basically, if the site is telling people orders can't be processed fine, whatever. but don't be charging customers when you say you're not! sheesh.
but omg if these go through it'll be so awesome. most of my books were free, too. i wouldn't otherwise be able to get these books for my son - they're so expensive! i got mosty dr. suess and berenstain bears books for him. plus 1 book for me and 1 book for sis in chicagoland i've been wanting her to read because its so good.
(if i get them i'll send the duplicate kids' books to her for her daughter)
also.. currently my one saving grace with dh is that the transaction $$'s were so little. if they'd been $50 each or something, yeah.. i'd be getting roasted for sure. but they are $12.95, $12.95 and $13.99. not enough to break the bank while waiting to see if they go through.
and dm, if you get 10 orders of the same 25 books that's hilarious. i thought it was bad with my 1 order being duplicated in charges. i guess you won't need to worry about christmas gift or donations this year..
