cheese question..

could someone plz tell me what type of cheese do you normally give kids..we dont use cheese and also kids didnt like it very much..they had the cheese in the pizza and liked it...this morning they asked me for cheese...i just had kraft singles with me and i gave them that.....what are the other options..what is string cheese....also need a quick tutorial on cpns for cheese...thanks
My girls love cream cheese, cheddar, mozzerella(string cheese is usually mozzerella) different brands do taste different, so far they like most kraft and target cheese sticks, but NOT friggo, and really no other store brands. They also eat the american singles but I discourage that as snack food, otherwise we won't have any for our sandwiches and hamburgers!

(Ulta) They do but they are generally asshats about it. Not worth it!

DD started when she was 11...I was nearly 16

Ladies shouldn't wear them (tp's) overnight, unless y'all are gonna set your alarm and change it evey 4-6 hours. It's not healthy.
Hey there! wave I heart you too!

I was 13 when I started, DD just turned 13 and still hasn't. I keep telling her not to feel bad, she's the lucky one. Since all her friends who have started tell her the same thing, she's good with that.

Heck, who can get through a night with just one tp? Not me. About 3am, I wake up and can tell that I MUST change mine. Sorry if TMI....

Quote from flugette :
About Ulta - I wasn't sure if they accepted MFQs, but then I saw several tearpads near products, so I figured they just HAD to, since they were offering them in their store! When I used them, though, the cashier had no idea what to do, and had to ask a manager. Manager was cool with it, but if its going to be a hassle every time I go in, not sure its worth it. But if you use their coupons PLUS MFQs, you can get great stuff for free, maybe even overage... Hmm, the quandaries of a coupon shopper! Big Grin
Good for you, but I concur with Thrifty, above....

Quote from flugette :
I am hurriedly trying to put together a few runs to different stores tomorrow, and was wondering what everyone is buying free/for pennies at Walgreens this week? I saw the Pert thread, not completely sure how to do it. Any advice would be SO much appreciated. Big Grin

I found a tearpad for free produce wyb Kraft mayo. Anyone used this and can tell me how to use it? TIA! Its the first "free" Kraft Q I've been able to find around here, so I was kinda excited about it, but just want to use it in the most advantageous way possible. Smilie
WG has Benefiber for potential overage. 72 ct of 'pill' format is on clearance for $3.29 or $3.79, depending on the store. Use the $2 off manu q first, then the $2 IVC q from their book. Also, Durex is a potential overage. Some products are $6.99. Use the $5 manu q and the $3 IVC q from their book. There are these interesting ones you put in the freezer. Cool

WG also has the new Glade clothes freshener for $2.99. There's a printable $1.50 manu q and a $1.50 IVC in their book. They also have the Glade candle for $1.99, use $1 manu q and do the rebate for $1.00, making it free.

WG has the small bags of Dove candy 2/$5. Use the BOGO Dove manu q (printable, from awhile back) and the $1.50 manu q. That makes them $1, and there's a $1 RR you'll get back. Buy the dark chocolate varieties, and use your receipts to get movie tickets. I know it's 1 ticket for $12 of candy purchase, I think it's 2 tickets for $24.

And then there's the Axe travel size body wash, buy 4 at $1.59 each, get a catalina with a code good for two movie tickets. Someone said there's a $1 Axe coupon at Dollar General, but I was there today and didn't see any. I'd be VERY interested in getting my hands on a few dozen of these, if anyone happens to see a little box of them.

Talk about siggy worthy!!! That's awesome!!! Anyone see SNL when Peyton Manning hosted and he did the locker room skit??? That's the first thing I thought of when I read this!!

Oh yeah, sorry about the skunk-i-fication - we had a similar incident this past weekend though we're not sure what/where got sprayed - it seemed to be isolated to one single room in the house and it was gone in a day ... my house is like a vortex of air constantly blowing through with the AC and fans so I'm not surprised, but Jesus, Lord was that nasty for those few hours!!!!

okay, had a good/ bad shopping day, kids where rather wild and just did not want to be still. Cashier joice at T today was awful, my jedi was at the 10 and under lane and I had a cartfull. Cashier read ever q and denied my FF and my Breeze Q Frown along with a handfull of others. walked over to the cashier and returned a few things, just told her my total was higher than I wanted. She laughed and says that happens to her all the time.

2 good CVS runs, and one soso. transfered a RX to CVS and saved $16 on what ST was charging plus got $30 GC, Did the pert twice, sending in one with the MIR.

Went to Barnes and Nobles and got 3 free books from the reading program, dd reads ALOT. made a return that dh bought then found at home, plus got a price adjustment from a coupon the emailed me this morning I bought a product on Sat that the coupon would have been good on, the manager was super nice about the return and price adjustment! Turned around and let both girls something out and spent the money I got back.

Registered at school today for dd, we have all our supplies and all set to go.

Went to Randalls and bought 18 2L of sprite for free, plus he double scanned one cause my $6 in meat was was only $4.09 total. Between rootbeer and sprite I think we are set for the next 4 months!

Think i am staying away from Target for the next week.

I need a favor if anyone can help me out. We hit our 75% clearance last week and DH, yes I said DH filled the buggy w/ toys for HIM!!
Anyways he found some game called HeroScape and our target only had 1 Expansion pack that was $2.xx and he was wanted others, (he said some were a little bigger, ie..cost more, but our store did not have them), but if anyone finds these Expansion packs @ 75% off that wouldent mind picking them up for me I'd (well he'd) appreciated it I of course would reimburse you for it.

Also I'm waayyyy behind in the deal thread were having a rash of bad luck w/ some home updates & I've been to busy to keep up; if there is any amazing new deals I should know about could someone shoot me a PM? Thanks hug

Just got off the phone with Safeway re: my nightmarish attempt to get papers there Sunday. After reading what seemed like books and books of information, she told me she'd have to call me back regarding the "one per purchase" rule. Calls back, and OF COURSE I'm right!!!! nod I was disappointed, though, because she didn't offer any gift cards or anything... Frown She did say, though, that she was going to call that store and "straighten them out". Not sure how much that will help, and not sure I ever want to go back to that store again.

Anyway, all that to say maybe I'll have to hit up another store to get that Sprite deal! Big Grin

MP cheese blocks are 3/$6 this week, along with the shreds.
i so would be there once i knew they had been called....just because i know i'm right and now they know i'm right. go in with lots of coupons and smile smile smile. but that's just me!! nod

Right now wag's has a bunch of kellog's stuff for 4/10 or 5/10 and you get $5 rr...with the $10 mail in rebate and the q's this week you can get a great deal!
i feel as i'm missing something in this deal..
the mfg rebate states all items have to be in 1 transaction - only 1 receipt.

so the best i see is:

10 cereal @ 4/$10 =
$25

- $5 coupons (5 $1/2's) =
$20

get back $5 RR (because only prints once per transaction)
do rebate for $10
===========================================
final price 10/$5

i dunno.. i could be biased because we're still stocked out the butt on cereal here (i'm talking seriously.. 60 boxes or so of FREE deals).. so maybe i'm just too cheap to dive in on this one. laugh out loud
is there something i'm missing that makes this a better deal? because of course if it's free we'll take it! Big Grin look around

oh for sure if i had a $3/$10 that'd change my story. that must be the part of the deal i was missing. LMAO

dh likes a lot of the kelloggs flavors too. myself i like the frosted flakes, frosted mini wheats, raisin bran. if we didn't have so much cereal already $.50/box would be a good price. but as it is.. i already hear it from him when i bring home free ones. so yeah. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) if i limit the take home cereal to only the free's or $.25/ box price, it keeps our stockpile more *managable* and i don't get in trouble for bringing home 'more cereal? Mad ' . laugh out loud

i think i will hold out and see what other sales come up; rebate's good through the end of september so still plenty of time. yummy

Oh, does anyone have experience shopping at Ulta, a beauty supply store? We just had one open up near us, and want to know the best way to work the deals... Smilie I'm pretty sure they accept MFQs, plus the ad has a $3.50/$10 purchase.
A new one opened up around here a couple of months ago. Loved it! The flyer in that Sunday's paper had a Q for a freebie bag of poo, nail polish, and hair gel, got 2 of those...and the tearpads! They had the $6 Physician's Formula bronzer and $2 Sally Hansen depilatory, virgin and untouched, brought a tear to my eye. laugh out loud The SH depilatory stuff was bogo also, looked like a new store promo as it wasn't on the website - the first week it rang up bogo properly but the next week it rang up at 50% off + bogo! Bigeye The cashier said "well even if it's a mistake I still have to give it to you since the register scans it at that price". heart I went back several days later but they had fixed it by then. Ah well, their stock was pretty depleted by then anyways. Wink I haven't been back, the prices/deals are not as good as you can get elsewhere, for the most part.

A lot of people have had luck with getting two $5 RRs to print off one transaction, doing both the cereal RR deal and the snacks RR deal - half cereal and half snacks (although it hasn't worked for all).
