Mason City, Iowa Target
I have a friend who wants to try again at a Target run. She has done one and got shot down on a small simple run I set up for her. She will be in Mason City and wants to try again there. I am wondering if anyone has any tidbits or information on how they handle things there. You may PM me if needed. TIA

Nope I am good. Thank you for asking.

We did set up the breeze but it's too big, not good for our situation where we need 5 hands to wrestle the kid, hold the meter, puncture the hand, etc. Definitely sticking with one touch for now.

Just ate a frosted flakes cereal cup. Forgot about those, they were right near the laundry pile.

ok well he just made up for scaring me half to death. We are watching Sesame Street and they were counting to 10, and guess who was counting right along with them all the way to 10! He has been learnign soooo much this week its crazy.
Give him a box of Bandaids to play with. It's nerve-wrecking with your 1st (well, 1st in a long while for you), but by the 4th one, they learned to take care of their own wounds. EEK!

My motto around the house: Wink
  • Don't come crying to Mommy unless you're BLEEDING and need to go to the hospital!!!

The rest of the time, they know how to use Bandaids for cuts and able to stop their own nose-bleeds.

One time, I had a call from the teacher that my daughter had a nose-bleed at school and if they need to do anything special for her.
  • I asked, "Did it stopped?"
  • The teacher replied, "Yes, she put a wad of tissue in her nose and it stopped."
  • My response, "OK, then, nothing for me or you to do now... Problem solved!" Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Hey, was hoping one of you target folks might have some input or advice on this.

I found some kodak disposable cameras the other day and want to get them developed, and thought the free photo delevopment at WAGS today would be a good way to get that done. But I noticed this morning that on the bottom there are "develop by" dates that are very old ('03, '05, and '07). How big a problem will this be? Would I be better off paying a better photo place to try and save the photos than trying to force them thru the free 1hr deal today? I'm pretty sure at least one of these has some "lost" photos from our honeymoon cruise 3 years ago, so if I can possibly salvage them by paying more I'd rather do that.

Anyone have experience with "expired" disposable cameras?

Thanks
I had an expired camera developed last month at Target. It had an exp. date of 05 or 03...can't remember how old, but older than 07 (it was an odd year...in numbers, not the year itself...whew, mama didn't have enough coffee this morning Embarrassment ) ANYHOW, when it was developed some of the photos had little white spots on them and after a closer inspection of the film, there were little flecks of something like the film itself had deteriorated. We were able to rub away some of the flecks and re-print some photos, but some flecks just didn't come off. The photo guy said it may have been because of the age of the film. Reconfirmed my dislike of film these days!
OT, just spent $50 on Shutterfly yesterday....good gravy. That's what happens when you forget to process digital pics for over a year. I have sooo many more to go too...I just gave up and ran out of coupons. OMG

DH said to ask the WAGS guy if he knows how to "push" the film. If not, bring it to a nicer place. Pushing it will overdevelop which in this scenario if they do it right can save the film. He did say it would be smarter to have them try it with one camera first and if it works then do the rest.

And then a bunch of technical stuff I tuned out.

Woah - you need shutterfly peelies from either the Spy Kids DVDs or Pirates of the Carribean DVDs at T (although they were under the shrink wrap in the POC DVD at my T)!!! Good for free 50 4x6 prints, 2 5x7s, and 1 8x10 from shutterfly (can be used for existing accts).

Not sure who might be interested in this tidbit, but if any of you are looking for the HW/Barbie coupons, I saw the Chef Boyardee that have these inside the labels at Dollar General for $1.00 each. I know those are the more restrictive coupons, but I thought it interesting to find them there.

Also, hadn't been to Dollar General in forever, but was interested to see manu q's posted in little boxes there. They have Dollar General on them in two places, but have a bar code and reimbursement guidelines. I have actually experimented with cutting off the DG info on each, to see if they'll be more easily accepted elsewhere without the logo.bulb

Thanks for the info, I was wondering the same thing.

Somebody asked about the Pert deal at WAGS? (I think?)

For the new MIR on Pert/Sure + school supplies, just buy $5 (original price) of the school supplies that are on the $.09 7 day Qs along w/$5 of Pert or Sure. If you don't need the school supplies, best deal is 2 packs of the highlighters (reg. price $2.99). Give them your highest values Pert/Sure Qs, then the 7-day Q on the school supplies.

In my scenario above, you pay $.18 for your school supplies, and you'll get a rebate back on the whole $5 (since it looks like you spent $5.98).

Be careful, though that your WAGs isn't like mine and doesn't have ancient packages of the Pert/Sure out. I brought the only 2 Sure unscented (the only deo my DH will use) up there. My second manu. Q beeped "item not found." I looked at the package and realized it was b/c they still had one of the old P&G packages that had a 37000 bar code on it. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) The d-bag of a manager who gave me a hard time about an even exchange where I'd used Qs (long story) was floating around and my cashier was a newbie so I just sucked it up, but I didn't like it. Mad

Was going to post more WAG deals but you have S-momma here who is too awesome! Smilie
I've been doing the Dove dark deal but never thought of using the B1G1 Q along w/the $1.50. Just been paying $2 for 2 bags like a sucker. shake head Stick Out Tongue It was good to learn that the state of NM considers Dove chocolate a necessary food item, since there was no tax on any of my transactions!! Wink

Quote from shopgirl24 :
i feel as i'm missing something in this deal..
the mfg rebate states all items have to be in 1 transaction - only 1 receipt.
Quote from Jen2882 :
Yea...i keep trying to make it better in my head. But we had a new store open so i have $3/10 q's so 10 for/2...and the 5/10 is good for me b/c i like a lot of that stuff.
I think this has been answered but you should be able to do one cereal deal + one snack deal in one transaction. There is only one deal on the snacks even though there are two different price points; some peeps in the WAGs threads have gotten confused on that.

Also, the Lifesavers are B1G1 this week, and there are B1G1 MQs out. So free.

Sorry so much WAG. laugh out loud

Went for "genetic counseling" yesterday-- really just the first round of tests-- but got an early sonogram. Got to see my baby-- and I have pictures now!! Kinda of looks like an alien, but hey, it's my alien. laugh out loud

Actually, I was a total wreck in the morning. I am a worrier by nature so the idea that something could be wrong makes me crazy. I was hoping the whole thing would be over and they'd say, "Your baby is perfect," but it turns out this is a whole big long process and even the first set of test results will take a week to get back. But the lady doing the sonogram said everything "looked" good and all the measurements were in the good range. So that is something.

Saw "Hellboy II" w/DH as a kind of celebration. Used Ponds peelie tickets-- there, that's about T. Sort of. Cool

I'm usually in the loop with the WAG deals, but am totally lost at this point. It took me 1/2 hour last night to find this week's WAG thread b/c they renamed it "Free film" thread... Too many threads for the same week of deals....

I understand the deals, but can S-Momma or Sbshiggins lay out in specific items to buy and coupons to use. Right now, visualization works best. My head is flooded with Sobe life water and can't concentrate.

Thanks for any help.

Jen2882 - WAG has Speedstick on sale for $1.99 - $1 MQ = $0.99 each. Buy 8, get back $10 RRs. Overage of $2 (someone corrects me if this is not right)
