I used to let my SB Shower Cleaner do the work for me - but it worried me a little, because the shower curtain was open a little at the back once and it got on my curtains - it ate a hole in the curtain!!! EEK! And I was letting this stuff spray on my bath pouf thingie??? Has anyone else had this happen?

you are so lucky... i put my daughter in her bed for timeout, but she cries!! i mean she cries and doesnt stop until i pick her up. i feel so guilty for letting her cry like that.Maybe its b/c i am young and dont know all the tricks to timeouts. I do try, but i haven not been successful.. My son, he just knows how to get his way... he smiles, gives me a hug, starts kissing me and says "mommy, i love you" in two languages.. and i cant get upset with him... i just melt!

i definately need tips from all of you moms Smilie
i know this is probably going to sound bad but.. i've sort of learned to tune out the crying/ screaming. it doesn't bother me anymore, so i no longer feel bad when ds is crying in his room because he's in trouble. laugh out loud
toddlers are not babies, and sometimes they do know how to work it and give you a guilt trip. but as long as you know that they are not crying because something is wrong with them/ they're hurt or anything, there's nothing wrong with leaving them to cry to no one but themselves. eventually they'll learn to work it out, and may even put themselves to sleep.

sometimes, when ds was real little, if a tantrum was reeaallly bad i'd give ds a bath with lavendar baby products. it actually does help him to calm down. Smilie

how do you guys clean the inner lining of the shower curtain...do you wipe it daily/weekly/ put it in the washer or just put in a new one
i confess!! i just buy a new one. we don't use fancy liners or anything though. we just have the el cheapo white plastic one target has for maybe $2. so not a big deal to get a new one when it gets nasty. Stick Out Tongue
with intermittent wiping, each liner seems to last us 2 - 3 months. not bad for a $2 thing. Big Grin

we've been using that shower cleaner for about a month now and it's working great for us. no negative experiences as yet. the instructions do say to sort of rinse the shower before you get in again - if you're worried about your poofy thing you can probably throw it in the washer, and from here forwards rinse it really well before using??

Totally agree about the crying thing. There is nothing wrong with leaving your child to cry himself to sleep, what-have-you, as long as you are fairly certain nothing else is wrong with him. Its amazing how quickly they can learn to play you when they find a weakness. Smilie And how young they are when they figure it out! And it honestly doesn't take long before they figure out that crying doesn't do much for them, as long as you're consistent with it and don't give in. Wink I think that's the biggest key with little ones - being consistent. Not just you as the mom, but also you and dad as the parents. Little ones need to know that mommy and daddy agree on all the rules.

Be glad it's just the kids making you go gray. I'm in my early 20s with no kids yet and very gray already - thanks genes!!

I am 21 and I found my first grey hair about 3 months ago! I totally blame it on my husband! Smilie

Hello, I have never posted in this thread before. I am fairly new at the targeting adventures in fact pretty new to the entire couponing thing. Anyways, I was just curious to know what all you can talk about in here and if there are any current deals going on...It has been a rough few weeks lately and I haven't got to do any deals! I am planning a trip tomorrow to T but only if there is some good stuff going on. I have to drive about 1 hr. and 15 min to the closest one...speaking of that, for those of you that live right around the corner or not to far from these stores be thankful! Smilie Have a great day and thanks in advance for any advice!

Jessica
wave Welcome! Nothing at T this week that I would drive an hour and a half for. consider reading the T thread and start planning a run. Maybe by next week there will be a better ad, plus you will already have a nice list planned.

This works great - also, if I'm scrubbing in the tub with a brush anyway, as opposed to a sponge or something, I'll scrub the liner wherever it looks grungry. Gets it clean as well. And if its really bad ... time for a new one! Big Grin
I keep a spray bottle of water w/ about 1 tsp of bleach for cleaning the counters, etc. When I'm cleaning the bath I spray the liner and its stays nice and white.

Did okay at WAGS and Target today. Took it small and easy $44 down to $6.50 did the BOGO Ziplocks, muir glen, kashi, and honey bunches, scored some goldfish TQ's with the ziplocks She scanned everything unless it beeped then she would read the almost wouldn't take the goldfish tq thinking it wouldn't work because of my mq's, but the cashier in the next row came to check on her and told her to put them thru. Love the Bic pens at WAGS and the $1 off q didn't beep!

All this mail box talk reminded me I didn't check mine today. I should have tons of Bricks q's coming but I'm not getting them. At first I used my name and got them. Then I started using Valued Customer and I stopped getting them. I think my mail person is throwing them away. Maybe I should put a note in the box to remind them to leave anything addressed to valued customer. But...no bills and and envie from double (thanks!) so a good day anyway!

Does anyone know what site S$ is?

Don't know if its been mentioned, but the ziplocs I got this weekend had .55 q's on the inside portion of the box, where you punch out the opening.

I love ArielA. I spent the last 2 hours on shutterfly because of her but it was worth it! I used 2 of my peelies and it was a lot of work. I think the kid is going to kill me, I made him sit through a photo session. Sometimes he's so damn cute. He reaches over when I was reading him one of his good night books and pulls the hairband on my wrist and just smiles. Like haha got you mommy.

I got a $30 rite aid GC for transferring a $4 RX. I don't like the store but the original RX was at CVS so I clearly couldn't transfer it there. Going to transfer it to WAGS at the end of the month, I have a $25 new store RX coupon. We figure we're going to use every transfer we can find for the smaller RX like the diaper rash cream and save up the GC for diabetic supplies.

I'm bored with Target but making a list in case I go to IL this weekend. Which Little people toys can you not live without? I haven't bought many for him, I have the garage and zoo from a craigslist buy before SD.I'm thinkin the fire truck and the police cruiser. Has to be small so he can play with it there and then we can fit it in duffel back home. Anything else?

I do have to go back to my store tomorrow or Wed to pick up a few more things and use some expiring q's. Waiting for another deal though, gettin tired of same ol same ol. And why are my jack daniels marinades not clearanced yet?
