This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

sd needs more night owls...I get lonely after 12 am
coupons, ads, riteaid/ cvs bags to be unloaded. stuff is just flying everywhere on there. it needs a cleanup.
i haven't done any clipping for like the last 6 weeks - just clip as i go. not real sure how i feel about this system yet. hehe. if i can keep the pile of inserts more in control instead of all over the place on the desk i think it will work better for me.

I don't think I could really do the whole binder thing....I don't think I could see myself pulling my binder out in the store...just not me....I wish office depot was 24 hours i'd go buy the pretzel type organizers.....

Sorry, I should specify- there's tons of stuff to buy free cheap this weekend. Just nothing NEW.
You SHOULD! I want to see those pics!
And yeah, no binder for me... I use a $5 coupon organizer I bought in the office section of T. Anything that hasn't made it yet/ doesn't fit/ hasn't been cut goes in a big drawer in my kitchen. My "coupon drawer"
blah, even dh is wimping out on me and going to sleep. It's not even midnight yet!
geez i i wish i had some envelopes to get together or something.

then i switched to getting a bunch of those plastic shoebox containers. cut, paper-clipped and then rubberbanded and labeled each insert and kept them inside the shoeboxes. this system worked really well for me, except for the fact that even after getting a guillotine paper cutter i was still spending a lot of boring time clipping. though i did stick with it for several months because it worked so well.. anytime i needed a certain coupon i just looked online for the insert 'location' and grabbed it right out of a box. it made preparing runs a lot faster as all my coupons were pre-clipped. (and as a side note, my coupon area was a lot more organized as all the cut coupons take up much less space than uncut inserts)
so for now i am trying out to see how cutting coupons as i need them goes.
and so far while i am liking how it's going.. i also have to admit it is a bit difficult on my sanity as to keeping the desk in a presentable appearance.
i may end up going back to just grudging it out and clipping them all. lol and i might try the binder thing again, but this time only put in my 'best' or 'favorite' coupons that i know for sure will get used.
