i tried the binder thing. it failed for me because i tried to put everything in there.. and believe me that thing got full fast mostly with cruddy coupons i never used.

then i switched to getting a bunch of those plastic shoebox containers. cut, paper-clipped and then rubberbanded and labeled each insert and kept them inside the shoeboxes. this system worked really well for me, except for the fact that even after getting a guillotine paper cutter i was still spending a lot of boring time clipping. though i did stick with it for several months because it worked so well.. anytime i needed a certain coupon i just looked online for the insert 'location' and grabbed it right out of a box. it made preparing runs a lot faster as all my coupons were pre-clipped. (and as a side note, my coupon area was a lot more organized as all the cut coupons take up much less space than uncut inserts)

so for now i am trying out to see how cutting coupons as i need them goes.

and so far while i am liking how it's going.. i also have to admit it is a bit difficult on my sanity as to keeping the desk in a presentable appearance. Stick Out Tongue

i may end up going back to just grudging it out and clipping them all. lol and i might try the binder thing again, but this time only put in my 'best' or 'favorite' coupons that i know for sure will get used.

See I want something relatively small in size....the freakin q organizer i have now barely fits in my purse and it annoys me so much!

That is too funny! I wish dd would learn another saying other than "oh,sh*t" Yep...that's dd's favorite thing to say. Everything is oh sh*t this oh sh*t that....Scolding her really doesn't seem to make a bit of difference. Me and my friend were in the store with her the other day and of course she goes oh sh*t and my friend goes oh my gosh it sounds like she just said oh sh*t....I was like uhm yea she did.
laugh out loud When my DD was little, she couldn't say Kentucky Fried Chicken...instead she said FUC*Y Fried Chicken. The first time she said it I over reacted a bit, which of course caused her to say it all the more. We were on an airplane from Alaska to S.C. and she just kept saying it over and over. I was mortifiedLMAO Then, when we got to S.C. my mom wouldn't let her go to church w/ her because she was afraid she would yell it out loud. Poor thing didn't know what she was saying, or why it was getting so much attention, but I learned a valuable lesson, don't laugh or over react. I learned to ignore alot so that it wouldn't become a 'game'

I was up until 2 doing shutterfly, so frickin tired. Usually DS is up at 6-6:30. It's 7:30 and not stirring. I know he's breathing. We're supposed to give insulin at same time every day so I should wake him as it's late. But what about don't wake a sleeping baby?

No. We don't have cable. But I do watch gossip girl on the CW Monday nights. I love that show for some reason. Only TV show I watch.

Glad to know my son's not the only early riser! This morning, he was up at 5:41!!! It doesn't help that my hubby keeps hitting the snooze button, due to watching the Olympics - the alarm must go off 20 times before he finally takes care of it... Ugh. Kind of dragging today, but must get motivated and clean up my house!

Well I'm an idiot because they specifically told me to wake him if he sleeps too late and I didn't. He was COVERED in pee and sweat, just like he was when we first figured out he had it. Sugars through the roof. Coughing, sneezing, pale. I think he has a bug or something and that's making the diabetes wacky. The worst part is, he woke up so late, I couldn't even clean him up properly, had to wipe him down with baby wipe and then concentrate on getting insulin in. Then bath. Ugh, I have pee all over me but can't shower as had to throw his stuff in washer so it didn't stain (zout).

Big meeting at work, won't be on much today. Hope it's a boring dayheart

Speaking of the Oympics...yesterdays adventures with my toddler.....

Sectional Sofa Sprint- he took the Gold in this event.

The high dive (also a sofa event)- He took the Gold in that event as well

The window ledge climb and wave- Took the Silver in this event. I have an old house and all my windows have ledges, great for cats, not so much for kids. Glad I dont open the windows. But funny he did sit up there and waved to all the cars driving by.

There was also a lamp incident and climbing into his FP Kitchen sink, but he only did those once.

I was so worn out yesterday. Today is a new day and he is sitting on the floor rolling a ball around.

First of all, I know I've been pretty MIA from SD lately... we've been so busy with guests... and now the Olympics (I love the Olympics!) I do miss all the T chat... but there are only so many hours in the day... even now I"m only going on 6 hours/night... which definitely is not enough for me. So, I hope things are going good for everyone... and I will do my best to catch up sometime this week...

Anyway, I do need help... I know someone here gave me the 1-800 number for Catalina... to complain when something didn't print. I really need that number again (and I stupidly didn't keep it last time). Does someone know who to call and what to do? I know the info is on one of these retired chat threads... so I may have to go digging around for it... but just thought I'd ask 1st in case someone had the info handy.

Thanks so much!!!

Catalina Phone Number is 1-888-8coupon

If it's for RR - I got mine about a week and a half after calling, thought I wouldn't as I hadn't heard back from them on the phone.

It will take them 24 hours after your transaction in question to be able to view it and see if you should have gotten a certain catalina print out. They asked for a receipt number from me and the total cost of the transaction that I paid.

Good luck!

You should teach him how to climb them. My kid can go up, not good with down. He knew how to climb stairs before walking!
