Does your dh play world of warcraft too? I literally hate these games..And now I have been told that the new antcipated warhammer is being released early on 9-18..I s he going to start that one too?

I hate when im trying to talk to him and he keep checking the computer to make sure no one is beating on him...

Dh really annoys me when I'm shopping...he'll call and ask when I'm coming home. Uhm when I'm done shopping!

I bet this has already been posted somewhere, but I just saw it because the tidy cats q is back on coupons.com. For those of you needing prescriptions, did you see the Rite Aid fill-up/fuel-up gc coupon also on coupons.com right now?

My hubby is this way!! I call to check on him and the girls and he acts like I am interrupting something The thing is, I am, his WoW time he it when I shop bc he can play video games non stop the whole time I am gone

DH calls at the worst times...for instance when I am using the calculator on my cell phone and I have all of the items in my cart and I am just about done figuring up my overage. When the call comes in it clears me out of calculator mode. He doesn't understand why I answer the phone so pissed off!

I have learned to either calculate my run & overage at home or write it down on my envie.

Oh yes, in fact most of the men in my family play this game! All due to my hubby. He has been playing it forever and has gotten them all to start! I just found out that he has the collectors edition of the warhammer game already on pre-order I had no clue! I do know they are all excited over the upgrade that is coming to the game this fall/winter, something about characters transferring or something like that I use the WoW trading cards as bribes for J coming with me to T to do our big runs He gets them with the overages we earn! I try not to take him too often now since he thinks he always needs a reward

You will have to fill me in on the collectors edition of warhammer..Mine is doing the happy dance because he found out he can use my 10 % gammers club card for preorder of the game and the strategy guide...

But I dont have to bribe him with cards to go to Target just my body...

ok speaking of jerks, this one is NOT my dh...but a friend's dh (super long ~ sorry)

so we've had plans to go to a water park all week tomorrow, yet friend's dh sunday nite tells her that because of the illnesses that have popped up this summer from water (crypto) and even though all water parks have been treated and continued to be treated, forbid her to go. ok i said the FORBID...wtf??? seriously, i don't live like this. i'm married and we communicate. he may say that's probably not a good idea, but i can do whatever i want. is it freaking 1875? because i didn't know anyone owned anyone in 2008.

so she calls me sunday nite and says let's plan something else. i'm like uh no. just b/c your husband forbids you doesn't mean my dd and i have to be grounded also. she's offended that we won't change our plans. doesn't say it but you can tell she's at a loss.

i even ask dh wth? he's lol and wondering where to get such a wife!! he even goes so far as to tell our dd that she should never date a guy that tells her what to do and when to do it and checks up on her all the time type person. etc, etc.

so then monday she calls to tell me she's going to talk to him again that nite and try to get permission. i'm like whatever. we're still going with or without you. she offers up some more ideas and asks me if i'm sure. yea, i'm sure. i'm still super nice.

monday nite she calls and says he's not ok with it, but says i can go and it will be her fault if she and her daughter get sick. she's like ok. but you can tell when she talks to me she's not ok with it. she's worried what if we get sick and he's right and then i have to put up with him. i tell her basically this is your life, do what you need to do to be ok and let me know what you decide.

tuesday morning she calls and says that they are both uncomfortable with the water and unsure if it is safe to be out in the pools b/c some have gotten diarrhea from this funk. (it's much like food poisoning with the symptoms) there's all kinds of info on the website about them checking and hyperchlorinating and such to make sure it doesn't get in their water, but anyone with the funk in their poop (ie babies) or didn't wash their hands, etc can still start a new case anywhere. not just the water parks.

so i tell her do what you need to do. i don't understand, but it's your decision. you can get food poisoning, so don't eat out. you can get west nile from mosquitos, don't go outside, etc etc you can't live in glass houses. if my dd gets sick we will go to the doctor since we know what it could be, but there is no medication and it just runs it's course. i don't know what else to say. not as nice, but i'm trying.

tonight at cheer camp. she runs up and says finally he gave me permission. yes, permission. whatever, i don't get it. i don't live this type of life and i didn't know she did. so we are on and dd spends nite at her house and i'm to meet them in the morning at the water park.

cut to an hour ago. 11 pm. phone rings. she tells me that dd has a temp of 99.1. seriously i'm not a nurse, but 99.1. are you freaking kidding me? i'm trying not to laugh. i know what's happening. she is trying to get my dd to take the fall so that now we can't go. she also tells me dd says her throat is sore. yes, probably. she has been cheering all day and then all night. i'm sure her throat hurts. she's like oh. i didn't think of that. i go thru all the mommy questions about her well being and finally say she's not sick, she doesn't have a temp and she's ok. do you need me to come get her? no. ok. goodnight.

5 minutes later phone rings again. it's her again. ok i just checked her throat and it is red on one side. me- do you need me to come get her (no longer nice sounding and dh in the background hollering GO GET HER THIS IS F'ING RIDICULOUS!). her- no i just thought you should know. me- thank you but i think she is fine. do you need me to come get her? her- no if you don't think she is sick, then she should be ok. what should i do if she gets worse? me- ummm, get her some meds. but she is not sick. her- what if she is contagious and gets my dd sick? me- do you need me to come get her? she's not sick but if you are uncomfortable, then i will come get her. her-no but i need to tell you that dh is still not happy with the water park and maybe we can do this another time when there is no crypto (ummm it's always going to be there ~ it's a water/poop illness). you can still go though (gee tell your dh thanks). me - (breathing deeply, cussing in my head trying not to do it outloud) me- i'm coming to get her (mind you a 35 minute drive) she's not sick if you can't go to the park then just say so. her- well what if she does get sick and then i have to put up with him (forgot to say he is the stepdad) and then i have to tell ex that i got her sick? me- you mean to tell me that your dd just spent 30 days straight with her father AT THE LAKE (where the most funk is found and not treated) and you want me to think he is going to be mad at you for taking her to a water park for one day? he will not. if you need to not go to be ok, then don't go. her- silence. she forgot i knew about the lake. stuttering i just don't know what to do. we want to go but he is worried and it's just not worth it. me - ok i'll come get her. her-no she can stay the night and we will talk tomorrow. me- call me in the morning and i will come get her and blah blah blah

5 minutes later my dd calls and tells me goodnite. i ask where her friends mom is and she says talking to her dh. i ask are they arguing? she says no but they are on the other side of the house. i ask if friends mom is all over her asking her lots of questions about being sick. she says yes. i ask her if she is sick. she says no. she said i told her my throat hurt and she immediately took my temp and called you. i said did she talk to dh before that. she said yes. i asked if she was uncomfortable and needed to come home and she said no. she said she and friend were upset that now they can't go together. i told her i can't fix this and to call me if anything changes tonight and/or in the morning and i would pick her up if friends weren't going.

i am freaking out that friend will be beat if she disobeys her husband. what does everyone else read into this saga? i can not freaking sleep. i'ts 1 am and i'm waiting for dd to call and say come get me. do i ask her if something will happen if she goes without his blessing. ie are you going to be beat and need help?? what do i do? am i just crazy. is this normal and i'm the unnormal? wth is going on??

this is my dd's best friend for about a year. they looooove each other. and we (the mom and i) have been talking a lot at the games last year and then getting the girls together every once in a while. she's always having to clear it with her dh. if her dd wants to spend the night with my dd. we have to get it cleared. if my dd wants to spend the night we have to get it cleared. if they want to meet us at chick fil a. she has to get it cleared. 1/2 the time it's a yes. 1/2 the time it's a no. if her dd spends her weekend with her dad and then comes home, she is not allowed to have company or go anywhere for a few days because step dad says he needs his time. i've just been getting kind of weirded out about this last statement lately and then this saga. i'm trying not to read more into it than is there, but i'm starting to wonder if it's there....

No kidding smeg. Mine is a frickin slob, dirty clothes, dishes everywhere, forgets errands but he cooks dinner every night and takes excellent care of DS. Sometimes he's 10 min late for something or forgets to write down DS blood sugar but man, nothing like the above. I'd like to see him forbid me. Sometimes he may say he'd like it if I stayed in and watched a movie instead of going to Target or something and when he does, I almost always stay just because he asks nicely. I would FREAK if he ever acted like the above post

I think b/c dh has been so infuriating this past week I forget all the good things he does too lol.

We had to go to the bank today to deposit some checks and to the dmv to get him a new id (he insisted I did something with it and that's why it's lost lol) and he had me cracking up the entire time. The lady at the bank told us to write dd's name on the back of her check (birthday money) and write minor...dh asked her if she was sure she didn't just want us to ask her to drool on it lol.
