but what do you do? it only comes every 4 years. its not like its something you can see every day.
Add me to the list of those killing themselves watching the Olympics. Doesn't look any better for tonight either. Gymnastics just started and they'll be on until at least 1 am. But like you said, it only comes every 4 yrs.

Edit: Ok, I just read my post....Man, do I sound like a whiner! laugh out loud Sorry peeps...I hate whiners too! It's just been a long couple of weeks!

Tomorrow is my first day with students. Everyone wish me luck. The first two weeks with Kindergarteners is extremely mentally draining!

not for the gymnastics! lol
but anything else i don't care if i read spoilers. Smilie

random question. does anyone know if target carries child locks for the fridge? and what section would those be in and how much $$? i'm thinking maybe in with like sink plugs and such, but i dunno..
ds recently learned how to raid the fridge and the door being left open is starting to be a real concern. OMG he's only 6 so shouldn't even be going in there at all, the sneaker. anyway, if i can find one of these (even if its not at the T) it would really help us.

Oh, I feel for you. I'm a teacher too, but my first day of inservice is the 25th and kids don't come until after Labor Day. I'm going to enjoy my last week off! I'm in Indianapolis right now visiting my son at college. There are a bunch of CVS stores and Super Targets that I'm going to hit before I got home.

I don't know about the fridge locks although we sure could use them too. DS is 6, DD is 4 and they are constantly going in the fridge...helping themselves, usually for a drink. DS calls himself a "big boy" now because he can get his own cup of milk. LMAO

I want to move away from the south, at least until the weather cools down. And now the tropics are getting busy and it looks like storms could be coming our way, so more headaches and sinus/ear infections for me...I really miss Seattle~
Oh man, I hate this weather. At least you get seasons. Florida has one season - hot and hotter. Winter is seriously like, 3 days. So freaking hot every day, makes it so hard to drag yourself out of the house to do any runs.

I know that the T's by me have all of the safety baby stuff in the baby section. I don't recall ever seeing a fridge lock though. Most of what I found online is about $5 or less. If you happen to have a BRU near you, they have a pretty large selection of safety stuff. (they have more in store than online) HTH

T does NOT have refrigerator locks...and really truly don't waste your money. We have gone through FOUR fridge locks with a 2 year old, so I don't think they are gonna keep your 4 and 6 year olds out lol.

Basically the problem is they are all made with sticky backs...one end goes on the fridge and one on the door and they latch......so first problem is if they are tall enough they can reach the latch anyways. Second problem is dh didn't pay attention and yanked it open a couple of times so the sticky back came loose and dd can open it now.

If you find something more durable and works better, let me know!!

I can honestly say that I had a great day at work!! The boss is out of town, so I think we all took a little breather and just relaxed lol. Plus I hung out with dd all day so that was fun. We just ran some small errands...went to the dollar store and she picked out her 10 bajillionth purse lol.

I am NOT looking forward to driving 6 hours hours to chicago tomm. night....mom's wedding saturday, and driving back home 6 hours sunday and possibly having to work when i get back in town. EEK! EEK!

omg i LOVE that my 3 yo can get in the fridge! in the door ong the bottom shelf is all her stuff (small water bottles, juice boxes, those half size cans of sprite) and she can also use the water on the door of the fridge alone. plus if she ever wants fruit or cheese or anything like that she can make it herself too. she's a little do-it-yourselfer and i like giving her the freedom to do stuff for herself if she can. i also have a low cabinet that i have designated "the snack cabinet" all the crackers, applesauce, granola bars, cookies, etc are in there and if she ever wants something she goes and gets it out and brings it to me to ask permission. so that has worked out well too. only problem is that now since my 1yo is walking she gets everything out and wants cookies and cries when i take them away. so yesterday we installed a baby lock and taught the 3 yo how to open it. she feels all grown up now! laugh out loud anyway, they're pretty good about not going where they're not supposed to in the kitchen otherwise i'd have everything locked down too!
