This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Ok, so a confession and a pet peeve: I'm so anal about my inserts that I go through and pull out all of the extra random sheets in there that don't have coupons but only advertizing for "checks in the mail", girdles, coin collections, etc. And that is also my pet peeve - the fact that they include these sheets in there. Don't they know that these extra sheets add up and make the inserts harder to store - grrr...
Well I'm still sick as a dog but feeling a bit better. Hopefully I'll feel even better tomorrow.
Oh, BTW, was it Double that was looking for Jello Qs? I noticed that there was a $1 Q this week. Or was it Stormy??? Anyway, I am saving them because I remember someone mentioning it - PM me if it was you!
G'night peeps!
Wait, I was going to go to bed... ok, now I'm going (really)...
You cleaned out the target of nuggets, bagel bites ,cheese its....Did you even buy anything that you didn't get almost free......At least try to make it look good..
There are people only using one coupon at a store ,,and then you have these people.I hope they weren't slikdealers..
Anyway should we start a countdown to when we arent allowed to use these?
Sorry....

The repair guy finally figures out it is not the cable at all and it's a problem with the power outlet.
That is so sad you lost all that food. I have been worrying about power to our freezer ever since, we haven't even had it 2 months yet so we didn't have nearly the amount of food you must have had.
I haven't been to Target in over 2 weeks so I've got nothing to add over there. K, W, Alby's that's another story.

Double is looking for them, I am sure she would appreciate them!
I am in a state of total shock right now. I know if I'd just cry I would feel better, but I am just too shocked.
I know some of you will understand my angst. This afternoon, DH discovered the door to our upright freezer in the garage slightly open. Last night, DD put a few things in it for me and I guess she didn't close the door good. End result? Everything in it was ruined except two cheesecakes and a pecan pie.
I almost had a breakdown, it was FULL to the gills with stuff I've gotten through great deals, including tons of meat. DH says it could have been worse, had we not noticed when we did, the meat could have been so spoiled when it was found so as to make us sick just to clean it out. And he cleaned the coils and checked it, we're hopefully that running full blast trying to cool a whole garage didn't totally ruin the freezer.
So, if you see any great deals on frozen foods, please pass them my way.

At least my freezer is working, thank God!
I won't file a homeowners claim, although I know many would. I work for the insurance company that insures us, and officially "dd stupidity" is not covered under HO insurance. I just wouldn't feel good about lying to get it covered, and know that I would get fired if I did turn the claim in and my lie was found out. Losing my job is just not worth what I could collect for the stuff that was in my freezer.
Oh, and I got a surprise this morning in the garage...I also had to throw out the rug I had sitting in front of the freezer. Didn't think about the liquid from the meat getting into there, but boy it stunk! Thank goodness DH hadn't left for work yet and could add it to the stuff he was taking to the dumpster at work!
On the good news front, today is trash day, so all the bad food is already gone.
And the attitude of those women disgust me, too.
