Yeah, not about FB, although it seems there must be a bunch out there using tons of them. I really expect the first wave of them to reach the redemption center is when all SH_T is going to hit the fan. It's really frustrating, because they are totally legit, it's just how some folks are using them that is not.

Ok, I have a lot to post...some is just to vent and some is to ask opinions!
We drove to Chicago this weekend for my mom's wedding....ugh I feel like it was just one fiasco after another lol. on Friday the 6 hour drive took 9 nours...took 7 and a half on the way home. In my haste to get on the road on Friday I forgot to pack a bunch of stuff, which of course dh got all kinds of pissy about and that causes an argument.
He was in sh*tty mood all weekend. He's getting edgy and frustrated from being home with dd all the time and resents me for going shopping b/c why do I get a break and he doesn't? I understand his frustrations but I DON'T stop him from going out!!! I told him go out with your friends have fun....at least then I don't have to listen to you b*tch lol. But I also told him he needs to understand the roles are reversed. You are a stay at home dad, I have to work 40 hours a week and I need me time too!
The reception was great....if you were my mom. lol I know that is what really counts, so yea it was good. Right now I'd really like to kill my sister though. I need your guys' advice on the situation and whether I should say anything to my mom or not.
Ok a little background......364 days of the year my sister is a really sh*tty daughter. If my mom doesn't come visit me or her fiance she's alone on the holidays (including mother's day) b/c my sisters ALWAYS puts her dh's family and my father before my mom. She will go WEEKS without calling my mom, heck she didn't even call her on her birthday this year.
Me and my mom have always been really close. We talk pretty much everyday. If she doesn't hear from me for two days she calls wondering what's going on.
The ceremony was fine....there was like a 4 hour gap between the ceremony and reception....my sis starts talking about decorating the reception hall....I'm like uhm ok whatever because I def. was NOT included in these plans...didn't know a thing about it. We get to the reception, I was not in a bad mood but I was really tired. Without drawing this out too much basically my mom and her fiance and my sister arranged for my sister to read toasts from his family and our family. Me and my brother knew nothing about this until she got up to read the toasts. I *think* my mom had one picture taken with me and that was it. Her fiance/husband said two things to me the ENTIRE reception....both of them criticism. Apparently I was cutting the cake slices too big, and apparently when I was putting everything in the car and cleaning up( which mean and my 12 year old niece did by ourselves...where was my sister then??) he got annoyed with me b/c I took the cards out of the card thingy and was going to fold it up and put it in the car. And once we got back to my mom's he didn't want to bring the cards in, my mom had to make him. I def. felt like he didn't trust them around me....like I was going to take my mom's freakin wedding cards.
I'm super upset about the whole thing. I feel like I was totally excluded from my moms wedding and that her now husband doesn't trust me, which is really f'd up. It's even worse for me b/c me and my mom are so close and my sister does not treat her well and she was treated like the golden child. No, I'm not crazy or paranoid I talked to my brother and his fiance about it and they pretty much feel the same way I do, he just doesn't let it get to him like I do.
So do I say something to my mom? I don't want to seem like a spoiled child but I am really upset. I had to stop typing and calm down b/c just typing it really upsets me.
I would talk to your mom.... BUT, and I know you're really hurt right now, but I would approach it from a different angle.... Is it possible that your mom might have felt like you might be too tired (fill in any number of adjectives here) to HAVE to do much when you arrived? Is it possible that your mom really just wanted you to enjoy the wedding (and let the damn sister that does nothing all year contribute something)? Just a thought....
Now about that new hubby.....Is it possible that he has gotten an earful from aforementioned sister about who knows what? Is it possible that he feels threatened by your close relationship with your mom and is just trying to keep the distance? Is it possible that he maybe read you guys wrong because your hubby was crabby and maybe that didn't sit well with him (right or wrong, I'm just throwing out possibilities).
Maybe you could ask your mom why she didn't ask you read or do something else (and do so with a heavy heart, not with a "wtf was she doing up there and not me" attitude) and also ask her if the new hubby commented at all about you and your hubby... if she asks why, you can tell her that you got the *feeling* that maybe he didn't like/trust you... this way it puts the burden on you and you're not upsetting her by accusing him of being curt or anything..... which might also put her on the defensive...
I don't know, just my thoughts... for what they're worth ... sorry it was like that... sorry about your extended drive home, too (just heard that from somewhere in the 'hood!

I am now a member of the pretzels fan club!! She is very cool and fun. Holy coupon organization. She must spend hours doing it. I seriously wish I lived closer.
Funny highlights:
My SIL asked for some ziplocs while I was out. We picked up 20 of the $1 packs. Lots of laughs for that one.
Walking through the airport today, every time DH bumped our duffel bag the little people toys would go off and so would the elmo phone. I had another backpack with 3 other noisy toys in it that kept going off. We were a sight.
Sometimes I let DS type on my laptop when he can't do any harm. The guy next to us on the plane was using his laptop. Enough said. I had to hold him back and he still reached over and snuck in a key here and there.
Me stealing the inserts from SIL paper. She doesn't use q's.
Not so funny-
Glad I brought the jj boxes. DS had lows every night we were there. Just lowered the insulin tonight, here's for hoping we don't have another tonight. Those are frickin scary.
Taking him in tomorrow for the test. Was hoping to do it today on way back but he fell asleep and looked so damn cute.
