i don't remember what it was like at first when i was pregnant with ds. but i'm trying to not get my hopes up too high and attribute the cruddy way i feel to likely just overall fatigue from staying up so late watching the olympics lately because it's probably to soon to be experiencing morning sickness from pregnancy. i dunno. shake head

Ok, I just wanted to lighten things up a bit... since the recent talk of freezer disasters and stocking up on meats, etc, it reminded me of something funny. I grew up in LA and would often see delivery trucks for the Culver City Meat Co. driving around. They had their slogan printed on their trucks and it always made me LOL when I saw the trucks. Here's a pic:

i wanted to reply in the deals thread but forgot..the crest $1 TQ IMO will not work on the bonus packs..remember the colgate TQ...i havent tried the crest on the single packs of toothpaste...

I teach health in a Catholic middle school. We were studying nutrition and I had the students come up with a nutrition slogan and make a poster to hang around school. Most were very clever. One student had a slogan similar to the meat truck. OMG I can't remember it exactly, but it was something like "Beat your meat. Eat vegetables instead" OMG I took the poster down and showed it to a few other teachers. They didn't think the kid had any idea what he wrote, so I just let it go. Next time, I'm going to have to approve slogans before they finish their posters!

I agree. There are so few deals at Target. I was in Indy over the weekend, where there are LOTS of Target stores and I only went once. It's not even fun to shop at Target anymore. I've been spending more time at WM, since they don't seem to judge or stalk me for my coupon usage.
I missed the drama too. Someone care to clue me in?
I know you're in Chicago, but not really sure where. I'm going to be at Northwestern College at the end of the month for a soccer game. Any good Target, WM or CVS stores nearby that you know of?

this reminds me of when dh and i were leaving for our honeymoon trip to florida. outside LAX, there was this sign advertising a golf course. it said:

"BUY 9 HOLES, GET 10 TACOS FREE"

i wanted to take a pic of that sign sooo bad but the camera was in the trunk and dh wouldn't pull over to do it. but still, definitely the FUNNIEST sign i've ever seen anywhere. and it probably does get them a lot more customers. bounce

The crest q could be coded for Oral B instead of crest. The colgate tq beeped because the the upc on the bonus pack was not for the Total Advance.
