same here. seems we're going to have a baby boom here in the target thread! bounce

i'm currently on day 27 of a regular person's 28 day cycle. i have myself worked up so much on trying to get pregnant i have no idea if i'm imagining things or not.
sunday i got extremely carsick on the way home from my parents house (its a 2 hour drive) and nearly vomit. certainly felt Sick the entire ride, which is not normal for me. i haven't eaten much at all for the last week or so. and since sunday i just in general haven't felt as good as i normally do.. like more prone to feeling nauseous especially in the morning. i feel extremely bloated which is normal for me this time of the month but have yet to experience the normal cramps that come along with it (usually cramp for 2 days or so before visitor actually comes).

i don't remember what it was like at first when i was pregnant with ds. but i'm trying to not get my hopes up too high and attribute the cruddy way i feel to likely just overall fatigue from staying up so late watching the olympics lately because it's probably to soon to be experiencing morning sickness from pregnancy. i dunno. shake head
i really just need to relax and not think about it. we'll know in a few days for sure either way, and if not we can just have more fun next month trying. bounce
(though of course if it turns out a + we'd be having fun anyways Stick Out Tongue)

Good luck with getting a positive test back. As far as morning sickness too soon though, it can happen at any time. My aunt would get morning sickness from the time she concieved almost till the end of the first trimester. I'm about 6 weeks along and starting to feel sick if I don't eat. I'm not a breakfast eater, and the past 2 days I had to eat. Normally I wouldnt eat until about 11 or so. Not now. 8am Im eating cereal. My other 3 pregnancies it was much later that I felt sick if I didn't eat. I can tell this one is going to be "fun". woot vomit Im sending my pregnant belly vibes your way.....hope they help. And to whoever else is trying. Good luck everyone.

oh the worst is that anything can trigger it. for me it was really bad with ds, especially with smells. stuff that would ordinarily have me seek out whatever it was to eat it, would send me hurling. or.. the food set before you can look sooo good and feel good eating it. only to come right back up 5 minutes later because your body changed its mind. ugghh. i apologized to my stepmom a few times, and assured her there was nothing wrong with her food and it tasted fine. but yeah.. morning sickness doesn't always strike only in the morning - and that's the worst part of all. that and if you don't have anything in your stomach you end up throwing up anyway. bile is extremely nasty. with ds i used to down a glass of juice or something every morning just because i knew it was going to happen regardless and having anything in my stomach to throw up would be easier than having nothing in it at all. shake head

Ok, I have a lot to post...some is just to vent and some is to ask opinions!

Sometimes you just have to put it all into perspective. I highly advise watching this in its entirety. Heck I have watched it several times.

The Last Lecture [youtube.com]

It is a little over an hour long, but well worth the time. ABC [go.com] interviewed him and did a great job.

Don't sweat the small stuff and it is all small stuff!

For all you Chicago peeps:

I've been meaning to post this for ages, but kept forgetting. The talk about Dominick's deals in the deals thread reminded me.

When I lived in Chicago, my main source for deals was this yahoo group:

http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/g...ddealloop/

They are a very high volume email list group (I had it on digest when I was a member-- well technically I still am, just on no mail) who talk about mostly Jewel and Dominick's deals but also a fair amount of T, WAG, and CVS.

Anyway, they are a really great group of mostly women and a few guys. Very helpful and willing to share.
Thank you. Will cetainly try to start reading that one too. Haven't actually got the hang of Target yet but hopefully Jewel and Dominicks are simpler LMAO Hubby says im getting addicted to this stuff eversince I started getting more mail than him LMAO

Yup, everyone really wants to scam test strips and lancets, lots of fun taking blood out of your kid every day. Which I'm on my way to take him to the doctor right now. See y'all later.
He's a psychopath. Anyone that would send nasty pm's because a mother is trying to help a sick child can be nothing BUT a psychopath. I wouldn't even open any more pm's from him. Just forward directly to a mod. Hope everything goes well at the doctor today.

Just quick note, won't be back on for a bit. We took him but they couldn't get his blood. We have to bring him to the hospital tomorrow. Ugh. I also have to get an oil change in completely polar opposite direction so won't be on till tomorrow night. Hope everyone has happy shopping. I'm heading out to KM tonight when baby goes to sleep to use up my nexus q's.

No idea how I deleted part of my earlier post, was trying to add earlier that I have one set of the target q's from this weeks inserts if anyone wants them. I also have 3 sets of inserts but most of them are completely different. It's weird.

i can't believe how ds is growing up already so fast. lately he's been a real cranky butt, and yesterday i found out why. he's already getting his adult teeth in and he's not even 6 yet. EEK!
broke out the camera so you can see what i'm talking about. (sorry its a little blurry.. but he was soo not wanting to hold still to get a real good shot Stick Out Tongue)

anyway, so the 2 adult teeth are growing in behind the baby teeth. 1 has erupted, not fully grown in. the other has not yet erupted but you can tell it will break through any time now. in the meantime the baby teeth in the front are not loose at all. shake head
how long should i give the baby teeth to become loose and come out naturally before taking him to a dentist? also, once the baby teeth are out will the adult teeth come forward or will they always be in the place they came out at?

if they stay where they're at its obvious there's going to be dental issues in the future and that makes me sad because the baby teeth were so perfect Sadwalk
(at least, the baby teeth were perfect until a couple week ago i noticed the 2 in the front started getting that gap on either side between them and the others; that didn't used to be there. i'm assuming the gap came about because of the adult teeth coming in?)

so yeah, anyway.. is adult teeth coming in this way normal? i don't remember my teeth coming in this way as a kid. most of my teeth got loose, came out and THEN the new one erupted. or, when the baby tooth came out, there would be the new one erupting in the same hole the old one was.
i'm probably overreacting to this whole teeth thing, but just looking for any advice on what to expect with this from other moms who have experienced their children losing their teeth. look around

Stopped by T for a quick run on the way home and wanted to confirm that the crest TQ must be coded for Oral b because it beeeeep'd on the bonus packs. Got K1'd due to good cashier choice, but I don't know that I'll try it again...

Your not overreacting, take him to the dentist. My dad had baby teeth that never fell out, he had them removed when he was 24. I had baby teeth that stayed attached by just one piece of skin, they had to be cut out as well. Extra teeth and missing teeth all need to be at least watched by a dentist in order to make informed decisions if you want him to have a "normal" smile as he grows.

My oldest dd is going to the dentist as soon as I can get an appointment, she has an extra molar coming in, it might get to stay it might come out now, it might come out later, but need a dentist to evaluate it.
Sorry if that is not what you wanted to hear.
