HOWEVER, that being said, I think that vyrlmkt is going to be on the hook to reimburse retailers for these. Despite what they claim, there is ample evidence that they told many people in writing that the q's were legit and to enjoy using them...and when that usage became widespread, they panicked and came up with the hacker story. The fact is, the coupons have an expiration date, and there is NO WAY to differentiate between the ones that were printed directly from the Check It Out application and those that were disseminated by other means---so, as long as the retailers have followed the terms of the coupon (i.e. correct item, can "prove sufficient stock" whatever THAT means), then vyrlmkt WILL be liable to reimburse them. I'm 99% certain that no court or jury in the land would find otherwise---especially since the "legit" coupons can't be told apart from the "hacked" ones.
Just my two cents, of course...YM(and opinion)MV
Hey popping in over here which I hardly ever do . . .
but what about all the people who printed these from FB and don't read a board like this and don't go back to read what was posted on FB. I don't understand how you can simply declare something no longer valid!!! At least T issued a press release and posted it in all their stores, etc.
"Got my mind on my Mommy and my Mommy on my mind"
I think that's the jist of it anyway.
I sent him to the grocery store with (30) Scott toilet paper Qs and told him to use ALL of the Qs at 1 store (why waste gas.)
For a guy who won't use coupons, the thought of having just (30) 4-pack rolls of TP is not an image he wants. What did he think people are going to say? "What goes in, must come out!"
Besides, he had 4 kids in tow, so it's not like he going to the grocery store to pick up women!
On the other hand, he has no problem using the GCs, the more limits the better.

I remember this..I used to just lurk arnd here sometimes and I also saw the cpn on JJ website...I didnt know you could print it multiple times..I was like why are people going ballistic over a free juice cpn..I thought oh well I will use it when i go next time, good cpn but nothing to go crazy abt..Now i understand everything...well most of it

Actually, Scott is the recommended brand for our septic system. I buy Charmin & Cottonelle if there's a cheap deal, but have to give those away. A malfunctioned septic system is no fun & very costly - we went through this headache last year.

How are "the masses" supposed to know that the coupons are now invalid, especially if they got them forwarded through email?
I think they'll see these coming in until they expire (if not beyond
They can't claim "copied or reproduced" because you can't tell the difference between the originals and copies.
Asshats supreme. Times two.

The drama that pops up every so often in the T thread is mild compared to what went on during the JJ fiasco. There was a separate thread and it got vicious. Mods had to shut it down.

I agree with you, how are normal people supposed to know these aren't good anymore. Unless they have the emails of every person that downloaded one and email them to tell them. And even then, since they said to share with friends, that's not going to work.
Downloading some pics while baby is playing, figured I'd catch up but nada to catch up on. We did finally get the blood done today, that was quite the drama, I'm so happy it's over.
PS-I know some of you are irritated over posts over in deals. Did you know you can ignore a user. Just go to your preferences, click on buddy/ignore lists and add that persons name. You won't be able to see their posts anymore.

Then DH was telling everyone in the family to lay off on using so much toilet paper. I have asked him more than once, did he think it was because the charmin was thicker than the TP we used to buy. That was the only thing I could think of, because I don't think all the kids were using like twice as much or something. Apparently when DH cleaned the septic tank (3 times in the last year we are using charmin) he is seeing a lot of TP.
