Hi-just wanted to say hi cuz I read all the time but don't usually post.

Question for ya'll. We're expecting and I never had morning(or all day rather) sickness with any of my other pregnancies and now with this one im really sick. Has anyone had this happen?

Someone said-maybe you're having twins! EEK! I dont think so but was wondering if this happens to others!

Congrats!

I had all day sickness with all 3 pgs. Someone told me I was having a girl because girls make you sicker than boys Confused But I did have a girl.... I had to be on meds with my 2nd and make it to the hospital a few times for IV hydration. The meds are HORRIBLE when you have other kids to watch. I hope it doesn't get that bad for you! My 3rd child was also a girl and I was sicker than I was with my son. Some people are sicker withe one sex over another, but more likely than not there isn't a pattern.

I don't often make it to this board but have decided to venture over. *snip* Is there anyone else on here that isn't pregnant or am I the only one with a big belly without a baby in it?

Anyway, lots of familiar screen names that I see in other forums so I am sure I know many of you - just didn't know there was a baby fest going on! Look forward to chatting with others.
*snip*
I came to say hello - so FINALLY...Hey everyone here at the Target Chit Chat Thread
wave and welcome to T chit chat! We're "2 and through" so I'm definitely another one with a big belly and no baby in it. I'm hoping to get rid of the belly but it just hasn't happened yet. Getting back into the gym would probably be a better hobby for me than SD, but SD is so much more fun... Wink Anyway, glad you made it over here and ramble away...

We use charmin or cottonelle, the stuff I got for free from CVS a while ago. We have septic. We have problems in one bathroom but not on the other. I'm OK with that for the free TP. When I eventually have to buy it again I'll probably go with trangs philosophy
We don't have a septic system, but we do use Angel Soft because our house is old and the pipes clog easily. I had heard that Northern and Charmin are the worst for plumbing and Angel Soft says "safe for septic systems" on the package...

We also use something in our pipes to help keep them clear - I think it is called bioclean. I'm not sure if it can be used with septic systems, but you use it regularly and it has enzymes that gradually eat away all the gunk in your pipes and keep them clearer.

Ok...I fear I may become a chit chat thread outcast for admitting this.....but I freakin hate sobe. It kind of makes me want to vomit. lol

Like, I didn't even partake in the whole sobe gc's deal b/c even if it's free I still have to store the stuff and I know I won't drink it lol.
I'll stand up and join you... I don't reallly like Sobe either. And since I'm just as happy drinking regular water (or free Dasani, which is what I happen to be drinking right now), I'd rather not have the extra sugar/calories. I did the deal because DH will drink it. He doesn't really like it either, but will have some if he puts it over ice and waters it down.

Eh, not so much. But the John Frieda RR deal will be back on Saturday (technically, on Sunday, but the sales prices should start late Saturday.

There's a RR deal where you get a $9 RR wyb 3 JF products (it's a specific line--- something about Luxurious Volume?). But when they go B1G1 50% off, then the "deduction" for the second item "counts" as your third item. So buying just two items triggers the RR. I've got a couple of $3/2 MQs too. So that will be good with the store Q.

Then there's the Unilever food RR deal. I haven't decided if I will be doing that deal or not. . .

Sobe is ok for our family, but I really like the special K protein water. Also what is really good I think, is the Pur system with the flavor refill cartridges. The raspberry is so good! Just give the drink 5 or so squirts, and you have some cheap flavored water.

However, maybe I should be drinking the Sobe, because we want another little one in the family and it seems to be working magic with all you ladies! laugh out loud

Uhm really someone is going to consider taking peelies the SAME thing as ripping coupons out of a magazine?? Uhm hello you freakin idiot once you rip that page out of the mag it is no longer SELLABLE, I don't think they are not gonna be able to sell peter pan pn b/c someone took the $5 hot wheel peelies......because apparently 12 is way to excessive...wonder what she would say to the dude that posted he took 79.
Quote from Jen2882 :
the wm thread...some lady made some rude comments to someone for taking 12 peelies....like told her she was stealing rude. I said no, I disagree...she responded, her little cronies jumped in, I ignored it.....then I said something about someone ripping a page of kraft q's out of all you and of course here comes her little self righteousness saying it's the same thing all snippy to me. I'm being the bigger person and ignoring it...because it is just the internet, but that doesn't mean it doesn't still piss me off!
Jen - did you notice her post of
Quote from AutumnGriffin :
No, she just took a dozen to use on herself. Funny though b/c the coupons I buy on eBay are roughly a lot of 12 or more. Like I said it's $hitty for someone to start taking peelies that aren't solely for them to begin with. Take one if you really want one that bad but don't go stripping dozens of bottles/packages on the shelf hording them like a squirrel. There are other people out there ya know that might actually want one for themselves. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) If the intention of the coupons was for someone to start steeling them off of every package to hord them to themselves the company would have simply put up a blinkie somewhere on that aisle.
I see that as meaning she pays someone else to peel peelies for her laugh out loud

Need to vent, probably shouldn't seeing how many of you are juggling jobs and young kids, sickness, homesickness, etc..but gosh I found out something at work today that is making me 'tired' laugh out loud

We are w/o a secretary right now, also without a panel manager (manages all of the doc's patient load). finally hired a panel manager who can only work half days for awhile, so I have to train her in the afternoons. Having to absorb some secretarial stuff, and I am not a secretary, props to all secretaries is all I can say! But today word came down that our clinical coordinator, my boss, is being tasked to surgical services for 2 months...so..no secretary, p.t. panel manager, and now I have to cover for the coordinator for 2 months...I may as well just bring my bed and stay there. I feel bad for complaining, but....I don't know if I can handle all the extra...

ok, vent over ..
Give me a place to live and i'll come be the secretary or whatever. I'm desperate for work Sadwalk

aww man...

I love love love the show scrubs. I watch it obsessively. If you don't watch it you may want to skip over this b/c it won't make sense.

I had never seen the episode that explained how dr. cox was responsibly for the death of 3 patients, just the following episodes. Uhm I just watched it and just cryed like a baby at the ending. Saddest episode EVER.

Does watching the Olympics make anyone else want to start exercising and get in shape??? I miss playing sports!!!

I haven't even kept up with the threads I've been watching so much of the Olympics - and the computer is not near a tv..... need to get that wireless hooked up!

I ordered myself a new laptop from target.com - said it was going to ship in 6 weeks. Guess what - I got the shipping confirmation today! Yay!!!

Edit: Just tracked the package. Only leaving from OH - not that far.... but it says estimated delivery Oct 7! WTH??? Hopefully that is not quite right!

Question: I got one of the $10/50 men's apparel q's with my Sears Shell gift card rebate. Will that work at K-Mart too? On the back it says not valid on kmart.com but does at least mention kmart.....

I also had an extreme aversion to meat until almost halfway through my pregnacy and I found this article really interesting from Cornell U.

The jist is that the aversion to meat is to protect the mom and fetus as most food borne illnesses come from meat. Also that cultures with very little meat in the diet (like nut an berry eaters in the Amazon) have almost NO reports of morning sickness. Thought its kinda cool to know everytime i almost heaved from seeing a steak it was really mother nature just trying to protect my little gummy bear.

He was trying so hard to be helpful. I saw the chicken laugh out loud and then I smelled it cooking, and by the time he was done, I was in the bathroom vomit...from then on we ate peanut butter sandwiches until the sickness passed!

Yeah, that is a great episode. I also love the one with there are three patients who are all terminal, and the whole gist of the episode is which one is going to die. There is this very beautiful song that the woman who does die sings (this is hard to explain if you've not seen the show; it sounds crazy laugh out loud) as she is passing. Both of those always make me Crying )

Huh. That's fascinating, esp. b/c I am a fish-eating vegetarian (I know, not a real thing, but I forget the technical term for it) but since being pregnant, I haven't been able to even think about eating fish. . . Confused
