I was looking for a reliable treadmill and came across this on Costco.com. This is most likely online and member only deal.

I am thinking this is a good deal as Proform 2000 is one of the highest rated treadmill. And specification looks good. I am not sure if paying by Costco Citi card will give additional warranty or not. May be somebody can provide details on that.

if costco do not sell their extended warranty on this treadmill, stay away from it as icon fitness, the manuf., support us non-existent.

I believe this would be covered by the costco no questions asked lifetime return policy. 5 Years from now if it takes a dump you can just return it at the store.

I think they do if you have the receipt. If not, join for $50 to return an $800 lemon. You can even get the membership refunded after.

How do you like it? Are you by chance a tall individual? I'm a 6' 4" tall man, and I have a longer stride. I'm curious if the track on this will be too short for me.

I'm 6'2" and it's great. The stride is one of the longest available on any treadmill, so you'll have no problem. The only thing to consider is how tall your ceilings are.

This is the most solidly built treadmill that will last you a lifetime - we love it. Oh, and I chatted with Proform Customer Service and they credited me the difference between what I paid and the Costco price. Excellent customer service!
