Red Pocket uses the same networks as the major US carriers. Choose the network that works best for you and your phone! Get a new number or bring your old one. Click on any network tower (in the link below) to view coverage.

YMMV: Check for 8% eBay bucks ($12 savings).

I bought this plan last year for similar price, and have been using it on Verizon network.

UPDATE (Thanks WIshbone and sometimes_steve for pointing these out)
*Our service will work with nearly any unlocked, GSM or CDMA device as long as your wireless contract has ended and your account is in good standing with your previous carrier (e.g., current on payments, etc.). Please make sure you are using the Red Pocket SIM cards from your Starter Kit to avoid any issues. If you are an existing Red Pocket customer or using a Sprint or other non-LTE CDMA device, you do not need to use the Starter Kit SIM cards. After you receive your activation code via email, simply activate your phone at myeasyactivation.com !

Thanks. Hoping they drop the Gold plan (1000 minutes talk/unlimited text) to $189 like they did last year at this time. Still $229 at present.

I've used Red Pocket for the last year with absolutely no issues. Highly recommend them if you want or need Verizon CDMA service, or GSM service as well.

Can this be used to renew present account. I saw on some of the seller feedback yes and some no. If so how to do it and keep the same phone #?
Think I found it. Looks like it can be used to renew. As per the fine print on the ebay item description>

Do they use AT&T or T-Mobile for GSM?

As per their website, they use all four major networks.

I'm also interested in knowing the answer to this question. Can you renew next year if a similar deal is offered?

I have used this for GSM the past year, but the Texting seems to be delayed. Sometimes they only go through or are received once you get on WiFi.

Red Pocket does not deliver the same service as full-fat Verizon, or even MVNOs like Total Wireless. Service is *extremely* slow, often 2G speeds, and services often don't reset at the beginning of the next month (and guess what, you can't call their customer service with your now bricked phone). Not worth it.

Great inexpensive service,l but once you hit the cap on data, it is almost useless for data. If you stay under 500 MB, you should be fine

MintSim deal a couple days ago ($35/3 months, $199/a year, unlimited talk/text, etc.) was much better I think.

Got this last year, and it worked great for a second emergency phone.
