General outline of a walkthrough.

Most important step for NEW customers, get a google voice number!
1) Sign up for google account
2) Go to google.com/voice to choose a new number
3) Go to google.com/voice/unlock to unlock for porting (will cost you $3)

New Customers/Existing Customers Best Buy.com
1) add the pixel to cart with $9.99/month box highlighted
2) a small window will pop up and ask "upgrade", "add a line", or "New Customer"
3) enter all your information and proceed if you get approved you will go to porting
4a) New customers will be ask to port a number (use the GV number from above)
4b) Existing customers will be ask to port and there will be an option below that says give me a new number
5) checkout and wait for a new phone.
6) After you received the new phone turn it on and activate it.
7) Follow instructions below for DPP payoff and port out
8) Enjoy your new phone

New Customers/Existing Customers Best Buy in-store
1) wait in line
2) tel them "upgrade", "add a line", or "New Customer" for Verizon
3) tell them that you want a pixel
4) Provide all information
4) request a new number or port GV if you want
5) double check the device payment agreement to match the full financed amount is $239.76
6) checkout and wait for a new phone.
6) After you received the new phone turn it on and activate it.
8) follow instructions below for pay off and DPP
9) Enjoy your new phone

HOW TO PAY FOR YOUR DEVICE ON MY VERIZON:
1) Register or Sign up for My Verizon if you haven't already.
2) After you logged in to your My Verizon Account
3) Click on your Phone/Phone Number
4) Click on View Device Payment Agreement (This link is on top of the red box where it says "upgrade options" or "upgrade device")
5) Go through the steps on paying off the device. Note: ONLY 1 device can be paid per 24 hour period. If you want to pay for more devices walk into a Verizon Corp store and they can help you there.
6) PORT OUT TO T-Mobile or H20 Wireless
7) Come back and rep me (I'm kidding)
8) Wait for the final bill. If you do not want any red flags from Verizon then just simply pay the darn bill. If you dont care by all means go ahead and try to get your activation fees back.

HOW TO PORT OUT TO T-MOBILE
1) Purchase a sim card from best buy $4.99
2) Go to t-mobile/activation
3) Follow the instructions there and choose $3 per day plan
4) When you get to the screen that tells you your phone number YOU ARE DONE!
5) You dont need to top up in order for the phone number to transfer

HOW TO PORT OUT TO H20 WIRELESS
1) Purchase a SIM card from best buy ($10) target ($10) walmart ($10) or amazon (.01)
2) Go to H2owirelessnow.com
3) Under Services Tab
4) Under Activation
5) Select Transfer My Number
6) Fill out all the information on that page
7) You will receive an email that you have successfully ported out to H2o.
8) If you fail at this try again.

HOW TO PORT OUT TO OTHER CARRIERS ATT/PROJECT FI/SPRINT ETC.
1) GO to your wireless carrier and follow instructions there to port out.

GOOD LORD IS THERE ANYONE ELSE THAT NEEDS HAND HOLDING ONCE YOU PORT OUT FROM VERIZON YOU ARE DONE! NO YOU DONT NEED TO PAY ON H2O or T-Mobile after the number is ported out. ITS COMMIN SENSE IT IS A PREPAID SERVICE YOU DONT GET SERVICE FROM THEM IF YOU DONT PAY! You can double check if you ported out successfully the phone number will be greyed out or you can't access my Verizon anymore.

The main reason why you want to port out is better than straight up cancel is that you dont have to talk to verizon CS, and to prevent any flagging of the accounts you want to create in the future as well. CS are dicks and they can flag you account. Best Buy CS can flag you accounts as well.

Those who ported into Verizon from GV you can check you port status at: Verizonwireless.com/port

The Unknown at the moment:
It is unknown if verizon counts service when you start the port or when the phone number is fully ported in. - Someone please update me in the future so i have this information.

Doing more that 1 line for New customers:

See attached for device payment agree copy i have removed all sensitive information. Just match it or look for the magic number being financed is $239.76

IF YOU HAVE A PREVIOUS TRADE IN CREDIT WITH VERIZON ON THE CURRENT LINE THAT YOU ARE UPGRADING YOU WILL LOSE THOSE CREDITS!

Screen shots of chats from verizon are below for verification that DPP has no ETF and 2 - Year contract does. (the Verizon agreement when you look at best buy it will say it has a ETF but its only pertains to phones that are purchased on a subsidized amount. The second agreement is DPP is the amount financed thats the actual price of the phone which is not subsidized.)


Existing Verizon Customers: Yes once you upgrade and get the phone and paid off you can do it again on that same line. BUT dont go over 2 per line because fraud and core department are very good at detecting these things. Be warned that they may flag you account. Some has success some run into a brick wall.

In Progress/Pending orders: Call Verizon Fraud Prevention @ 888-483-7200 and see if the applications is on hold for verification. If you need the application number you can call Best Buy and they can provide this to you.


I really hope everyone on slickdeals gets in on the deal. I tried to help everyone and anyone that has questions and just tired of all the skeptical people and trolls. If you are one of them please do not do it. If you are willing to jump on this bandwagon do it!
