in other cities as well, YMMV] has good prices on whiskey (could be in other cities hence the YMMV, I have attached a picture for you to price out), Blended Japanese whiskey, I have been paying 120 to 150 for the 12 and 15 yrs Hibiki on these whiskey, this is a great deal for regulars.
IMHO : This Whiskey is very smooth and matches the Blue label, now what makes it better is that its single malt, unlike the blue labels which are blended event at the 189/ltr price point.

edit: if you had written "Whisky can't be Japanese." you would still have been technically incorrect (there's no D.O. control on the spelling) but a little less spectacularly and pretentiously wrong.
Anyway sweet deal on this whiskey only, looking for some single malts cmon costco!
I've had many Japanese whiskies, and I do prefer them over many Scotches of the same price range. I can't say the same for Harmony or Toki which lack the finish and depth compared to aged Japanese whisky such as Hibiki Harmony vs Hibiki 12/17. Just my two cents for those who are not familiar with NAS japanese offerings.

Suntory is the maker, Hibiki is the label, then it's Harmony < 12 < 17 < 21 < 30
I'm not a fan of the Harmony aftertaste, can only described as melted plastic. Yamazaki 12 (also made by Suntory) goes down better, it's a single malt, along with Hakushu which I have not tried. The entire Hibiki line is *not* single malt.
You used to be able to get a bottle of Yamazaki 12 (or 15) for < $100, now it's more like $200+. People are catching on, such a shame.
