As most of you know or have guessed I work at a movie theatre. So toniht this chick comes up and asks if she will be able to refund a ticket if her friend doesn't show up. I asked if she had the credit card she purchased them and she said yes, so I said yes we would refund it for her. Now, here's the thing she was standing there in front of us waiting for them to show up. Someone showed up and she walked away.
Fast forward to two hours. *snip*
hanging with kid today and putting stuff on ebay, entering pampers codes, cutting coupons, etc etc. DH is volunteering 12-6 and with T closing at 9, I doubt I'll get there today although I'm itchin to use some coupons.
So I got my dream car for my Bday! I told DH many years ago the Lexus Crossover was my dream car, the car I dreamed of but would never be able to have, 40K new! We had been seraching for a new (to us) car to buy for awhile now just waiting for a screaming slick deal. Instead of waiting and getting what he wanted he got me my Lexus!!!

dont think I'm hitting T today either, maybe tuesday. rainy and icky here. will check inserts when hubby gets home & see if I should do cvs to get more papers. doubtful though. he has to dumpster dive wed. when he went yesterday boy scouts were there doing pape drive and they are there today too. but they can't be there when they're in school so now he has to stick with wednesdays!

I tend to stress about stuff like this, Monday morning cant come soon enough for me. Until I know I have that ticket booked, I am a wreck.
No shopping for me today, its my SD buddy Maggiekl, babys 1stbirthday, so we are going to her party!
At Target the Tava was $3.19, so even after the $1.50 Q that is a no. Maybe it'll go on sale before the end of January '09. Right after I finished checking out and the cashier handed me my receipt, the manager I wrote in on came running over. So I wadded up and stuffed the receipt inbetween my boobies. She saw me do it and I dared her to reach in, as there would have been all kinds of civil trouble for her. She said that the TGIF Q's are copies and I said no they are not. Then I told her to have a nice day and I left.
At Walmart I couldn't locate the Tava, nor could a manager. Had the nicest older grandma-like cashier!
At CVS I used my raincheck for some more Chex Mix. I'm still upset over the cashier at the other CVS saying that she couldn't give me a raincheck on the 12.5 oz bags of B1G1 Free candy. She said they are also on sale this week, but turns out it's the larger bag that is B1G1 Free. I should have known better. I'm still thinking about going and requesting a rain check if I get over that way. Think I should?
