I was just cutting out a bunch of IPs, including a couple of sheets of the FF TQs that I'm hoping will still be good by the time I make it out there (maybe Monday?).

Anyway, one of them looked all smeared and I couldn't figure out what had happened to it. Then I remembered that my old lady kitty (in my avatar) had been asleep on those pages for a long time ('cause, you know, I left some paper down on a flat surface, so naturally a cat must lie down on it laugh out loud).

I think she must have drooled all over my TQs. EEK! LMAO Especially since it's the "Fur Fighter" TQs. Maybe they offended her. Big Grin
Do your cats chew on paper they lie on too? only one of mine does that - he especially loves to lay on the newspaper and my coupons... luckily he only tears the newspaper and printed papers (so far!)

and got 5.00 off Spore computer game and hubby has been wanting that, so will get that another trip.
Where is the $5 off from - a TQ from your receipt? If so, lucky!!

I went out to another T (and wags and 2 grocery stores) ... got red lobster GCs with my RRs Roll I should own stock in Febreeze, I own enough of that crap now tonight laugh out loud I love pumpkin scents though so I'm Cloud9

Chew or lick. Big Grin Especially if I've been cutting a bunch of bricks Qs so there are lots of little strips (from btw the Qs-- I'm sure you all know what I mean). They love to chew on or lick those. Also plastic-- plastic bags, the shower curtain (vomit), envelopes (I guess the glue??). shake head They are highly entertaining.

laugh out loud How cute!! My older cat likes to sleep on plastic bags...
Yes, plastic bags are good too. Anything that crinkles or that I am currently trying to read (or, say, student papers I'm trying to grade). Big Grin

RRs work on anything... wording on them says they don't... but... depends on your cashier. I had a nice young teenage girl who loves my coupons laugh out loud

I found the pumpkin kinds right in the regular aisle, next to the other scents. Pumpkin spray and candles mmmmm. Some kind of autumn leave spray too Confused

I made Eagle brand "pumpkin pie gems" last night - I LOVE those. Buy a ton when WM clearances them out every year and make them all year long laugh out loud

Consider yourself invited! It is my great-great grandmothers recipe and my grandmother taught me how to make it. There were no directions or measurements I had to make it with her to get the measurements down. It makes 3 pies at a time. We eat 1/2 the 1st night, send a pie home w my Dad, eat a whole pie for Thanksgiving and finish it off the next day.

Ok here is some mushy stuff again. This is on a scrapbook page a page I did about the recipe and my grandmother

A pinch of this and a dash of that

This was how my Grandmother cooked. There was no recipe; there wasnt a need for one. She made this recipe every year at the holidays. It was tried and true. She knew it by heart, passed down from generation to generation. There were no luxuries, the crust made by hand, rolled to perfection. The eggs whites whipped into beautiful stiff peaks. The flour sifted and gently blended. The spices pulled from a handmade spice rack. The kitchen filled with the aroma of sweet cinnamon and pumpkin. While the pie was cooking, the dishes were hand washed and dried. Then and only then would she sit, and relax.

Gone are those days. Now you can buy pies in the store already made. But you know what is missing in those pies? A pinch of this and a dash of that. The pinch of a grandmothers legacy and a dash of a grandmothers love.

Even though my grandmother is gone, her spirit is with us. It is born in the mess of the kitchen. Continued in the children standing on a kitchen chair and helping, and enjoyed in a slice of heavenly pumpkin pie.

Yes, you just need enough items to cover your Qs at WAGS. Like last night, I got 2 $25 Shell gas cards and used $50 in RRs to pay. I made this part of a larger order ('cause I don't have the balls laugh out loud to just buy the GC w/my RRs-- unlike SOME (Trang) who have no fear!-- but I bought 8 bars of the WAG brand soap-- on sale w/7 day Q for $.25 each-- so I could use all of my RRs on that order.

That is awesome. You should give those out as Christmas gifts to family. That really is touching. You have a talent for writing. Wonder if those pies mail well..you may have a good thing going there. I would buy a couple!!! Especially with that story enclosed in the box!

That is wonderful! I wish that I could get the wording in my scrapping to come out like that!

I have a couple of the free Kraft hotdog and crystal light Qs that I am not go to get a chance to use before they expire on the 30th. I will split them up to the first two to PM me.

I also mentioned in the deals thread that I have two GoodNites $5/2 TQ that expired on 8/31 that I will send out to someone that thinks that they could use them.

Beautiful and yummy.

My DH's great-grandma was the cook for one of the royal families in Austria and he inherited a bunch of recipes from her. My favorite begins: go outside to the yard and select a fat hen. Big Grin

Times have changed. But I love cooking from scratch. It is fun and creative and when you done you have yummy food to eat. What's not to like?

Cleaning on the other hand. vomit

http://www.eaglebrandkits.com/home.asp It's one of those but is seasonal so not listed on their site (I sure hope they're making them again this year... haven't seen them yet! Going to WM tomorrow I hope). Box/product looks like this. [shopfoodex.com] They are so good - they've been selling them for a few years now.
