This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Anyone with a Meijer around...........

If you have those "Free" peelies for the Glade Plugins use them at Meijer because they have a promo where you get a $2 catalina for your next Meijer purchase.

So they end up paying you for taking the Plugins.

Jimmy - are you guys having a baby yet???

For the meijer glade catalinas - is there a limit of 1 per order or does it print multiples if you buy more than 1?

I found a couple of those peelies and I *think* Jen has some more for me - This would be really cool!

OK I'm goin to bed. Still no $5 glade or HW peelies but Im happy I found enough MM for DS first 2 years of going to movies probably

anyone buy that over the door HW car holder? was wondering if it's worth the $17 in overage
When my kids were little, it always seemed like that thing would put the cars out of the kids' reach. So we bought the rolling hot wheels suitcase instead and that worked really well for us.

Weird!!! Definitely try again and match upcs to make sure. It should work.

I thought K-Mart had trial edge, but I could be imagining things laugh out loud

Are you the one who was looking for $.50 V8? I found some last night. They are expired, but if your store takes expireds let me know if you want them.
Mine has the trial edge. And I fell victim to the pert upc issue before. Definitey check the barcodes. They should be on your receipt and you can see if they are all the same.

Wondering if anyone would fill me in on the pros and cons of having your coupons set up the "binder" way with the baseball card inserts.. I'm not happy with my current set-up.

Pretzels, I was buying two at a time today and the cat machine printed multiples, so I got 2 $2 coupons each time. Those peelies from Walgreen's are a money maker, since the air fresheners are free with the coupon, then you can use them at the grocery store to make $2 each. Between Air fresheners and Powerade, I got many cat coupons today to spend for some good food! Now the powerade will only print 1 cat coupon per transaction. I have 60 powerade zeros to drink, which is good because my kids like them as well. My DH says I am obsessed, but even he will drink the Powerade zero. This is really unusual because he won't usually drink sugar free/diet drinks, but even he says these are good!

Since I just switched over to the binder method, I will respond to this. I switched b/c I had 3 huge coupon organizers I was trying to maintain - one for CVS, one for Target and one for the grocery store. I even had separate bags for each coupon organizer! It was out of hand. Plus I then had these little pencil pouch things that I would put either that day's coupons in or for Target I would put the coupons that I pretty much always used (you know, the mainstays like Febreze bogos and stuff like that). So I bought a doublesided binder on clearance at Target and half of it is the non food coupons and the other half is food coupons. So now everything is in one place.
So far, I love it. Only downside I had was having to fold some coupons to get them to fit in the baseball card sleeves. But I did put some divider things in that have pockets and just put some in there if I don't want to fold them. I used the heavy duty Post It tabs to make it that much easier to find what I need.
It is big, bulky, heavy, barely fits in the small new carts my CVS got, but it has a handle and a carrying strap. And it works so well to just be able to flip to a section and grab what I need versus rifling through all of my coupons to find the one I want only to realize I left it in the Target organizer and need it at CVS or something like that!
So there's my 2, HTH!

pros are if you are a more Visual person like I am, then this will work out great for you Con's are if you are in a rush and flip through it like a mad woman coupons will be flying out everywhere..lol.. But so far its the best system Ive tried the box thingy and it didnt work out so well. hth.. I saw someone in my grocery store with and old cassette holder she had it filled with coupons and dividers it seemed like it held allot of q's and she was pretty organized.

laugh out loud I don't think there's another SDer in my entire state, and we are like the poorest state in the country.

Binder method is awesome in the store but major high maintenance. But if you've got the time, it's fantastic b/c you will have all your Qs in the store all the time, and be able to find stuff quickly.

I'm just not nearly organized to keep up with it.
