Did you ever realize that 90% of the time you think you picked a yuck cashier you are right? Usually not by choice of course. Today the woman I picked at my grocery store looked like a terrible choice, but she was in the 20 or less lane and the other two lines were long. I only had a few coupons and they were for exactly what was specified. My cashier reads each coupon before she scans it for like 2 minutes and then for another two minutes after it scans and then she reads my coupons that print out of the cat machine for five minutes. It was pretty obvious she was upset at my deals, as she wasn't so friendly anymore. What the heck, anyone can do this. I got powerade, glade, some deli salad, deli deviled eggs and deli stuffed green peppers for free pretty much after my MQ's coupons (powerade and glade) and my cat coupons (3 $4 off) from the other day. I got back a $4 cat coupon, and 3 $2 coupons, and another $1 off 3 powerade coupon, so I pretty much broke even on the cat coupons.
I wish the powerade $4 cats didn't all expire on 9-28, I still have like 10 to spend! Is everyone else's expiration date the same on them. Like the glade ones change each day you buy, good for the next two weeks, but my dates on the powerade ones don't. I guess I won't buy anymore powerade, since those cats expire Saturday.
Well I have been to 5 or 6 stores in this chain and the cashier's act like I am the only one using the cat coupons in the several trips I have made. Many act like they haven't seen the cat coupons very much if at all, and don't know that I can use more than one at a time. They are like well I don't know how to use this, I am like oh scan it. Some are also reading their $1 off 3 powerade closely, and it is a manufacturer coupon with their store name on it. I don't think anyone has seen this one. I think that one is funny, because the $1 off 3 powerade I had in the beginning from Walgreen's (that says Walgreen's) never got a second look. I even had one cashier get all confused, because the writing on one cat from one store was in all black, and their store cat's print with the store name in red.
I'm getting to be pretty sure that someone in my area copied register cat's for this chain of stores, and went from store to store using them. Just a feeling I get from a few remarks made at a few of the stores. I think that is why the lady at the one store was worried about the cat being all in black writing. I wish people would stop altering and coping coupons, because they are ruining it for all of us. I would have never thought to copy a cat coupon, and I am shocked someone is doing it. Apparently these will scan as well.
By the way I guess this is why I love the Target thread and Target so much! Let me just say that they are one of the most coupon friendly group of stores in my area! Way more than the local grocery stores and usually somewhat more than Walgreen's or Walmart. My kroger only accepts two like coupons, another chain you need manager approval on your order if you use more than $10 in coupons of any kind (I quit going here, because 95% of the time I have over $10 in coupons and it is such a pain to wait for a manager everytime), and many really frown on the IP coupons as they have been burnt. My K-mart takes no IP's except their own $ off store coupons. Looking back I can't complain about my coupon issues (very few) at Target as they are the most generous and coupon friendly store! I just wish my Targets had more food and fresh vegetables, and printed cat coupons! Then I wouldn't go to the "other guys" hardly anymore. As it is food selection is so limited at Target I have to shop at Walmart, Walgreen's and more than one grocery store chain to get everything my family wants.
3 robitussin $15 - $9 MQ = $6
total = $6 +tax get back $10 in RR
then go buy:
7 hydragloss $4 each= $28 - (only have 6) $1 MQ =$22
1 crest $4.49- $.75 MQ = $3.74
total=$25.74
- $10 from robi deal
-$10 from RR that expires tomorrow
= $5.74 +tax PLUS $10 RR & $4.50 RR
TIA

Do you have any of the hydragloss BOGO free coupons left?
LOreal Vive Pro Hydra Gloss Product, any B1G1F up to $4.99 (10-5-08) SS 7/13/08
I did this deal today, someone had posted they did it yesterday. I have tons of the Hydra Gloss shampoo & conditioner left already, but I am also trying to use up RR's.
drink filler to use RR .66
I bought 4 Hydro Gloss $16
1 LOreal natural match $ 9
Total $25.66
Used 2 BOGO Hydro Gloss - 8
2 $1 off Hydro Gloss -2
1 $5 of Natural Match -5
Total A/C 10.66 plus tax
Used $10 Robi RR so oop .66
Then I got the $10 RR for LOreal, so the products were pretty much free after coupons. Honestly if I wasn't getting the Pro Vive for sale I wouldn't buy it, because I have tons, my daughter doesn't like it and I heard it wasn't a great seller at sales. I haven't tried it yet myself, and probably won't as I pretty much use Pantene, Nexus and a few others. I probably will end up donating what I have.

Also, my Robitussin coupon is gone. I had my coupon opened on just another tab..DS came home and of course closed all of mom's tab's.
Someone please send me their links, or bookmarks so I can buy more. Yes I sold more at the street fair after I had a sign made. "Cough Syrup $2 ".
Love the idea I can still make out ahead at Walgreen's.
Thanks everyone!
Also a funny question. Why am I looking for Playschool peelies. I have found five of them...but I have no idea why I am looking for them.
