Oh so sorry that happened, I would be very upset as well. Someone posted last year that their car got stolon and they felt terribly upset about their lost coupons that were in the car, so you are not alone in being sad over something like this. Maybe you will get lucky and they will turn up, to bad you didn't have your name on it and maybe someone would turn it in. I found a wallet full of cash (a lot of cash!) this weekend and I turned it into customer service so you never know. I thought it ironic that this happened after someone posted on the Target thread they found money on the ground, and another person posted that they lost a gift card and someone spent it within 2 hours. I guess I got my chance to walk in the shoes of someone who found something like this to see what I would do. I think the person who lost their wallet will be happy I found it. My husband wanted to try to find out whose wallet it was and give it back to them personally, instead of trusting the store employees to give it back, but I told him I think since I turned it in at the service desk no one will mess with it.

I know coupons aren't the same as losing cash or a gift card or a car OMG, but I think we coupon clippers feel a big loss when this happens. And it is like we are losing money, plus all the time and work it takes to collect our gold.

When money, such as in a wallet, is found and turned in at Guest Service, it is logged into the lost and found and the money is put onto the books for that day's sales. This is to prevent team member theft of lost and found money.

Does anyone have any $1 Green Giant steamers to trade? I have HW peelies, $1 Ore Ida Steam and Mash and starbucks chocolate peelies.

Yeah that is why I told my husband don't worry, no one is going to mess with that wallet! We were leaving the grocery store and I spotted the wallet in a parking space by the cart return. I told my husband, someone lost their wallet and let me stop and get it. When I grabbed it, I opened it to see if I saw ID and there was all kinds of cash stuffed in there (it looked like a few hundred, I didn't count it but there were a bunch of $20's) and some credit cards. I didn't see ID, but I didn't go through all the cards. I just took it into the store and gave it to customer service, and figured they could locate the owner. I know I would have been bummed if that would have been me. So hopefully the person who lost the wallet realized when they got home, and called the store to see if it was there. So maybe they didn't have to panic very much.
