This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

You guys are awesome!
I also got some 2 $5 cat coupons for 4 wisp candles purchased at once. There is a display that says buy so much of the holiday glade products and get various $ coupons. My first three times I tried this I bought the glade candle holders and refills that were shown in the display picture and one wisp candle two of the times. All these were pictured, and the candle holders had blue holiday boxes. $20+ worth is supposed to get you a $5 RR, but the glade candle holders didn't seem to qualify for the reward at all, since a smaller reward printed ($2 twice and $3 once). When I bought just $20+ of glade wisp candles by themselves (4 candles) a $5 RR printed. I did that deal three times. 14 more wisp candles are enough.
The Holiday wisp candles are packaged really nice in a box this time. The regular ones are like a circle shape of the candle and are hard to store as they don't sit as well in a cabinet or box.
If you have a $5 RR and the checker applies it to an item that is less than $5 will it prompt them to pick something else or will it just take it off? I just wondered, because I have many $1, $2, one $3, two $5 and I'm not sure I should mix values in an order in case it messes up getting the maximum value on some. When I did mix tonight a few times I gave the highest value last one $5, because I figured it won't double anyway and I gave all my cats last anyway, so any clothing items were the only items left to choose from and higher $ anyway.
So where are there any overages other than the HW's peelies of course, and maybe PP peelies. I have found a few PP peelies, but haven't used them yet. I had .50 of overage on my nutra-air refills. I bought two on almost every trip so an extra $1 overage each time. What is the best way to make use of the cat coupons and get gift cards with them if you have to buy an item to use it anyway. Plus again my question is the item to cheap to apply the cat coupon to if it is less then the coupon, and if not will it deduct less than the value of the coupon? It also seems a big waste to try to have the cat applied to a cheaper item, since they are doubling anyway.
That is why I am telling DH get some things that you want, so these cats and the doubling value does not go to waste. He got 5 pairs of shorts tonight - clearance $4.99 - doubled cat $4 off. A belt $9.99 less doubled coupon for $4 making it $6, and a camouflage face mask for $9 - $5 RR = $4. I got a ton of clothes again. Nice clothes for me and some great clothes for the kids. I rarely shopped at K-mart and rarely bought clothing (usually didn't find to much I liked), but at these prices I am. I have shopped more at K-mart in the last few monthes then I have in my whole life. Except I always went to the after Christmas sale every year! I got 4 pairs of really cute Joe Boxer panties (The smily face ones) bikinis and hipster priced $3.99 each or sale 4 for $10, with a $1 cat doubled on each, so .50 each after coupons. I also found some tank tops on clearance for $4, so free after coupons. What is great is that you got the cat coupons with products that were bought cheap or free. So you got more in cat coupons then you spent to begin with on most of the glade except the wisp candles which are about .25 each after you figure for the RR.
Glade wisp Holdiay candles (nicer boxes)
4 for $25.96
less 4 $5 MQ's - $20.00
less RR received - $5
.96 for four
1/2 gallon of chocolate milk .49 with a $1 cat coupon also!
