Amazon in APP ONLY Deal of the Day is the highly rated Zinus Memory Foam 12" mattress.

This meets or beats many of the previous Zinus deals that I've seen.

https://www.amazon.com/Zinus-Memo...B00Q7EPSHI
You must use the amazon app to get the following prices.

Queen - $199.16
Full - $179.24
King - $257.62
Cal King - $261.75
Twin - $127.86
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Can anyone answer these questions?

We currently have a old (20-30 year old) spring mattress with a topper pad on it. My wife and I have never had any other mattress, will we hate the memory foam?

We have 3 dogs that enjoy sleeping with us, how does this handle with 3 dogs always jumping up on it? Will the claws rip this thing to shreds?

Is there a return policy? I know casper offers free returns, I thought about getting this but it might be a few weeks before we could get something to put this on(currently have a queen and want to upgrade to a king).

Zinus told me their policy on return is basically donate it and they would refund me... Amazon I think will send you another if there is an issue

Good deal! Bought this same mattress when it was on sale a few weeks ago. First memory foam mattress. I am never going back to a regular mattress. If you are only mildly thinking about getting a memory foam mattress, buy it! You won't be disappointed.

We placed the mattress on our old (but still in excellent shape) box springs. Mattress works just fine sitting on those. Although eventually I will be upgrading the base to something made for memory foam mattresses.

Definitely get a new mattress! Wear some comfortable clothes and go and test out all the different mattresses in a store. There are seriously so many options!
We had a 6 inch green tea memory foam topper, in the beginning it took awhile to get used to. Once we did it was heaven! I do not have pets but seeing as you put sheets over it I do not think dogs would cause any issues.
We unexpectedly had to throw ours away and it took us a really long time to relearn how to sleep without it! We purchased a new plush top mattress and opted to not get another memory foam topper....I do miss it still sometimes!

Glad to read this! Wife is hurting from old simmons mattress...its coming up on 8 years old too....been looking at them, bro-in-law just bought a ghostbed and was happy, I didn't want to spend that much, found Zinus to have good reviews....we have a queen bed, but since she is pregnant and has a body pillow, I wanted a king...plus our bedroom is massive and can easily fit a king with tons of room on the side for nightstands, figured might as well...emailed Zinus a few times on their website with questions and they were always prompt and detailed in their responses, so I knew this was the bed I wanted, just had to wait for the right time....now to find a frame

We have three large dogs and they are always jumping on the bed. The foam mattresses always have held up well. If you're worried, you can cover them with a mattress pad to give a bit more protection.
You really should replace your old mattress. Do you know the amount of dead skin and dust mites that gather after all this time {Shudder}
memory foam does feel different than an inner spring bed. It took me about a week to get used to it. Now I would never trade for an inner spring.

^^ I agree with Karrun. Memory foam does take some getting used to but once and if you do, you'll love it. Especially since you sleep with the dogs on the bed their movement won't bother you as much as spring mattresses.

You will not hate memory foam. I think it was actually first invented by gods. It could be the greatest invention of all time. BTW. Get a new mattress. That's really old. It makes a huge difference in sleep.

Bought the full size for my 14yo son a few weeks ago when it was on sale for the same price. He loves the comfort. It is a fairly firm mattress with great support.

Our 55 pound black lab sometimes sleeps with him and there have been no issues with her claws ripping into the foam. The mattress took shape quickly (expanded) and did have a slight chemical smell that lasted for a number of hours but dissipated overnight.

All is well and I would recommend this mattress for those looking to replace an older unit.
