Has anyone tried these with AutoCAD or know if it has any benefits over a mouse when using it for that?

Yeah. But surface pros that are able to use photoshop well will cost more.
If you have a computer that can handle photoshop, the $800 isn't a bad investment if you're going to use it.
Of course it's great if you can use the cheaper ones but I could not get used to drawing down here and seeing the art up on the screen. Just not for me sadly. Good for those that can though.
