the way it works is you buy this worthless restaurant.com voucher, take it to a participating restaurant, and once you meet ur deductible (i.e., spend at least $100) you can use the voucher to get discount on the remaining balance.
The problem is they won't allow you to log in to redeem the coupon. So you will sit awkwardly and try to log in while the waiter is waiting. Also some restaurants go to their page and said we dont do business with them.

Restaurant.com isn't a scam so much as it is pointless. You're spending money to buy a coupon which you then use to buy food with (and usually the minimum purchase is double of the certificate 'value'). On top of that, they're not gift cards so you can't stack unless it's a to-go type of place. And finally, the options are really slim; I'm in the LA area where there's a bunch of food and only two places really interest me and one of them is sold out.
That said I'm curious to see if this just a flat $25 to spend or if it's for a up to a $25 certificate.
I haven't looked at this deal, but I'd guess it's for a $25 certificate, not $25 credit to spend on the site. If there are still restaurants that do minimum $35 purchase, this is a good T-Mobile Tuesday deal.
Wish John Wick 2 was out or The Founder was still playing at the theaters here.
Edit: today realised it's for feb 14th, not this Tuesday. john Wick 2 will be out by then, so score.
