36" DeWalt Tool Chest - Top $99 and bottom $199 at Home Depot B&M - YMMV

Several of my local home depots have this deal. Most that had it were sold out of the bottom, but I was able to order & pay at a store that had it for pickup at a store that didn't have the deal. As with any HD toolbox clearance, this is very YMMV, but at $300 this thing is a smokin' deal. I strongly recommend checking for damage in the store. I had to bring back both my first top and bottom due to damage - looked like they'd been dropped. Bottom had a big crease on the front of one of the side posts, and the top didn't close properly. The paint on these is not as tough as my craftsman, and overall the fit/finish is somewhat lower -- not up to the hype surrounding DeWalt. I wouldn't buy these at the normal price of ~$450-500 (I'd spend a fraction more and get better quality), but at $300 they're pretty great.

Nice price. Personally I'm still holding out for the Milwaukee's price to drop (although I'm a dewalt guy in every other capacity)

The bottom section also has another power strip on the right side of cabinet. The handles on the top chest seem to be very durable and well made. There is a handle that attaches to the side as well. If you use Milwaukee tools there are also holes near the power strip to mount your battery chargers to the side of the chest.

Cannot add to cart online for the bottom and when I add the top unit it comes up full price of $249. Will swing by my local Home Depot in the way home.

It'll be a long wait. They just got the Milwaukee at our local HD and those are priced at $700 for both the upper and lower. You can tell that they are really high quality though compared to the Husky ones (no Dewalt ones at my HD).

My store has both, they're both really good quality and better than the husky stuff (which isnt that bad really).

I agree, they aren't gonna come down in price anytime soon but I will be ready when they do!

Have they ever dropped in price? Never seen the price drop in the last 2 years at my Home Depot whenever I check. Haha
