I bought this when it was $249 before xmas. With a new video card, and USB Audio Adaptor and a little figuring out the kernal panic booting bugs, i was able to turn mine into a MacOS Sierra Machine and it is singing like a bird now.

If you have more information on this and some time could you send any relevant information my way (sites, known issues, etc)? I would really like to try something like this.

This could be the last sale given the phase-out for the T30.

Here's my question:

Per the specifications:
System supports four 3.5" SATA hard drives stock. Room for two 2.5" SATA hard drives with expansion kit and with additional controller card

I've read that with the DVD drive there is not room for the two 2.5" additional drives to make it a 6 drive system? True?

I've been waiting for months to see this special again and didn't think it would happen so I ordered off Amazon, for $299, NEW.

It arrived and only has 145days of warranty left... what's up with that? I'm super *issed!

Ugh, so annoyed - thanks for posting this though...

guess you could contact Dell (might be painful) tell them you bought it new and the warranty needs to be reset.

also, maybe contact Amazon and ask for a pricematch? Or credit card pricematch (would be easier).

I was waiting and waiting for this and ended up ordering the Z420 deal for $349.99 for a plex server. I know this has better specs, but did I overkill with the Z420? Debating cancelling and getting this.

this cpu is good enough, except no hyperthreading. shouldn't matter if you are not running VM's
btw, i used the money from wells fargo to buy T20.
Thank you OP, Dell, WF and Amex all for the deal...

there was only 1 thread I could really find on tonymac that referenced a t20 hackintosh and it wasn't a complete guide. I'll try to write something up this weekend and share a how-to on my t20 install from December.
