never used this service but was quoted $318.00 for windshield replacement.
just had a local guy do it last week for $195.00otd, and he came to my work to do it. check with your local guys before you bite

Checked with 2 local outfits and they were $280+. Safelite is coming out at $270 after tax so it's a bit better than any others.

The last time I needed a replacement, I went to their website to get a quote but didn't complete the order. The next couple of days I was bombarded by ads on most websites I visited with coupon discounts starting from $25 on day 1 to $40 on day 6.

I took the $40 discount and completed my order after a week. They did a good job and customer service was good too.

Safelite is way over priced. I got a chip a few years back and they quoted around like $280. A local company did the job for $170. The premium you pay is pretty much just covers their advertising costs.
