I called Wells Fargo to confirm the deal. My wife was envious when I got a fat check from the previous deal.
I showed my sympathy by calling to confirm the deal is still around. They renewaled it.

Wells Fargo is already showing $0 in Checking with the pending transfer, but the transfer generally takes 2 business days to post. Thanks in advance.

How is one related to the other..and wouldn't taking a bank's money then closing the account right away be shady?
btw, WF waves the fee for 2 months...what are people scared of?
All banks do questionable things because big money attracts such people.

These promos deposit free money and give a debit card so the customer will spend it from that account. The idea is to increase the chance they will stay with the bank so as long-term profits are made like every time someone makes a purchase they get money, money on fees, credit cards, etc.
Posting tutorials on how to make micro-transactions is just further putting other deal-seekers at a disadvantage. The actual money means nothing to WF, it's the long-term customers they're after.
I did one account: transferred, waited for confirmation and used account/customer service/email/close account to close (took about 3 days total)
2nd account: i went to ATM withdrew all the cash, and used account/customer service/email/close account to close (took about 3 days total)
Opened account before the deadline but they didn't send me a debit card so I couldn't do the transactions. Called and they said they saw no such promotion or debit card ordered and got them to send me the debit card though.
Turns out the phone reps will have no info on this promotion so if you correctly went through the links, everything should work out even if the Wells Fargo representatives have no idea about it.
Did the transactions on the 11th, got the bonus on the 13th.

Amazon worked fine for me. as I made all 11 transactions and got the bonus on my account. I would message them back and demand the bonus like they offered or make another transaction. You have 60 days to do it I believe.
